It was a great day out, Francis was a wonderful host, we saw elephants, giraffes, hippos, lions the list goes on.
It is a very long day but well worth it.
In edition to the trip fee there is park entrance fee that needs to be paid of $53 us per person and you have to fill out a form online to do so. It’s not a problem but much easier on a desk top not iPhone. Also watch out for scammers we were given a park guide with our entrance fee and a park guard attempted to charge us $15 for it after we got back in the vehicle and our guide was sorting his entrance pass out. To summarise Francis and Simon are a small friendly and trustworthy company, I would highly recommend them.

Francis was an amazing and knowledgable driver for our Tsavo East Safari trip. He made sure to keep a lookout and stop for any new animals we have yet to see, or new access (closer shots) of wildlife we had already seen. He also kept communication with the other drivers so that he was able to take us to where they had seen the lions relaxing.
We did this trip during a time when the animals were not roaming as much, but Francis was able to divert our trip slightly to get closer to the animals we could find. He has a keen eye, and was able to locate animals far beyond what we could see, while he was also driving following the rules of the park (speedlimit and slowing for bumps and holes in the road).
It was a very safe and enjoyable ride.
We got to see all the main wildlife available in Tsavo East! Higly recommend!

Extraordinary tour. One of the best I've done so far.
A safari really is a unique experience and one that many travellers will unlikely encounter, but making the effort to do so will reward you with one of the best experiences in a lifetime.
This tour began with a pick up at 4.30am in the morning, from which we took a 2 1/2 journey to the park. The drive itself is an amazing experience as you pass shanty towns and the rural landscape, and the opportunity to see the sunrise over the Kenyan landscape. A stop over also at a local tourist centre allowed us to have coffee and some breakfast, before we continued on our way.
Upon arriving at the park I was totally unprepared for the experience that i was about to have. The rangers on site helped to lift up the rooftop so that I could observe through the roof. And there I stood as we proceeded through the gates and into the park.
Driving through opens up onto the wide savannah grasslands, stretching endlessly to the horizon. This alone was a sight to behold.
And almost immediately on our tour we encountered a herd of elephants. They came up to us so close i could almost hear them breathe! They deliberated long hard about whether to cross the path we were travelling on before eventually turning away.
Our journey through the park took us through winding dusty roads and each passing moment the landscape was teeming with animals luxuriating in their natural abode. Elephants, giraffes, buffalo, hippopotamuses, waterbucks, gazelles, zebras, baboons and more, and plenty of bird life and other unexpected surprising creatures. I was so fortunate as to have even witnessed a mongoose digging through a termite mound, an ostrich blockading our way, a wild boar, Komodo lizard, and even the most sort after Lion.
Yes, on this journey I was so fortunate, with the expertise of my guide Francis to stumble upon 2 lions. As the midday approached they had already had their feed, the remnants of their prey, visible not far away, and were now lounging under the shade of bush near to the dusty road we travelled on. We stationed ourselves there for several minutes watching their movements. Truly a sight to behold.
The majority of the tour is spent driving through the winding roads of the open grasslands searching for and hurrying to locations to where animals would be found. This was especially made possible by firstly, the knowledge, awareness and expertise of my guide. It was extraordinary to watch him in action looking for signs of animals and hurrying to them or maneuvering to get close. Also the communication between guides is fascinating to watch, the 2 way radios that they all used were scrambled with messages relaying to each other where animals were, and the drivers would all then scurry to the locations. It genuinely felt like a hunt.
Our journey through the park was capped by a herd of elephants including their infants lumbering towards a waterhole, where we waited behind bushes for their approach. Once they arrived the adults drank thirstily from the hole, whilst the infants played gleefully. The male observed our presence then signalled a warning to us to not approach too closely after which we ventured away...
But that was not the end of my adventures. After exiting the park, Francis had another surprise for me. A visit to a Maasai tribe. Words really cannot convey the amazement I felt and the sight that beheld me upon arriving. All the tribal people joyfully welcomed us, surrounding and calling out Jambo!, or Welcome!, They took me inside their village where I toured their huts made by the women, of animal dung and clay, very sturdy and surprisingly comfortable. They then proceeded to show me how to start a fire using just sticks and dung. I attempted to do so myself, a moment when I realised I was not Maasai and did not possess their skills. The women then treated me to their traditional dance, dressed in their colourful attire it was an overwhelming experience to behold. Unforgettable.
When time came to leave the tribe, I felt a tinge of sadness as I realised that their traditional way of life was ever threatened by the encroachment of modern society.
Finally my big thanks to Francis, my tour guide for making this experience unforgettable. Most safaris may require more than just the one day to sufficiently explore the grasslands and witness all the animals, but with his expertise and keen sense of awareness he made it all possible for me on this special occasion. Thanks Francis.
Overall a tour not to be missed. A once in a lifetime experience!

I had the opportunity to have a life experience that I truly recommend to everyone at least once in their life. I was in Kenya and thanks to Shariff (Sheriff for friends) and his availability and kindness, the stay was nothing short of spectacular. He accompanied us on a 3-day safari between Tsavo East and Ziwani and organized some wonderful experiences for us: blue safari with lunch on Waka Waka island, tuk tuk transport to Garoda beach, aperitif at sunset in Lichthaus and a visit to a school.
Sheriff is a kind person and an excellent guide. He is very good at finding animals that camouflage themselves in the savannah and will do everything he can to let you see as many of them as possible.
He also speaks Italian very well.
It was a wonderful discovery, I hope to return to the magnificent place that is Kenya and I will certainly rely on him again.

First time in Kenya, after a difficult year and a lot of serenity to recover, very high expectations... and then he arrives, Sharrif, Sheriff for his friends!!
Simply fantastic!
It was recommended to us by a friend of ours and everything was perfect!
Private couple safari around amboseli, tzavo east and taita hills with guide (Sharrif) and driver (Charles)! A space duo!
Sceriffo took us and guided us on this adventure, making us feel super comfortable, allowing and advising us on unique experiences and making us fully enjoy our holiday!
He even organized a cake for my birthday as a surprise in the lodge where we were!
Overall, we highly recommend it! Top!

Hi folks! We would like to book this trip over the next two days but was wondering what time we might be back in Mombasa. It’s an odd question but some of us “digital nomads” have to be online around 6:30pm :)
