Exceptional experience in immersion in Javanese culture and crafts. Starting from the guest house Lotus 2, Nuri will guide you to three workshops typical of his Borobudur region. We were alone with Nuri, we were able to discuss the local culture and our cultural differences. We left very happy with this beautiful meeting with Nuri and this experience.

Tour absolutely recommended, very authentic and different from the usual tourist traps. Nuri is a fabulous Guide. During the tour I could see the preparation of tofu, make a clay bowl and do a small batik workshop, super! The people I met were all very kind. Plus Nuri is a great photographer :)

Tour that takes you directly through the streets of Borobudur village, to learn about the main local activities and traditions. For the first time I saw how tofu is produced, I created a pottery and made a batik... and all the experiences were enriched by the generosity and humility of the locals, who introduced you to their work and accompany you in trying to make it!
Nuri is an exceptional Guide, calm and very prepared: ready to explain anything and available for your every request.
...and he is also a great photographer! It really deserves!!

Nuri, the guide who took care of me was so kind and helpful. He was adjusting to my pace, my needs . He also took the time to share a lot about the life around Borobudur. They even organised a special offering to hike Merbabu Mountain for me. I highly recommend them !

Nuri is a fantastic guide. So kind, clear and unhurried. He told us all about the places we visited but also lots more about living in Indonesia. He speaks excellent English.
The tour is lovely. The people at the industries we visited were highly skilled, warm and welcoming. Great to have a go with such patient tuition.

Nuri accompanied us for 2 days in Borobudur. He is a considerate Guide, always smiling who offered us a beautiful excursion in the villages around to visit: the factory of batik', pottery and tofu.

Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had in Indonesia. Nuri is a great guide and is fun to talk to. Every stop is engaging and enjoyable - I particularly liked the Batik workshop. The drive between each location is beautiful passing through rice fields, papaya and cassava with views into the mountains. Would highly recommend.

Really good local day around Borobudur with Nuri guide! We could see the rural life in three little villages. We recomend this experience 100%!!

We met guide Nuri at Lotus Guesthouse after we visited Borobodur. As we drove our own scooters we hit the road together all on scooters. It made the tour extra fun because we saw a lot of the local villages in the surrounding area. Nuri showed us where they make tofu and many rice fields. The pottery and batik making was super fun. Nuri is easy going, good in English and clearly he knows what he talks about when explaining. Also the people we met during the tour were warm and welcoming.
