After being picked up from our hotel by the driver who was supposed to drive us to the boat, we were very concerned as he pulled over multiple times and made side trips that involved stopping the car, other people coming up to the car, him passing them mysterious baggies and receiving cash in return. Upon arriving at the location where we were supposed to launch, we were already deeply uncomfortable. To make matters worse the boat that was supposed to take us over was in poor condition and the drinking water we were supposed to use was bug infested.
At this point everything so far had been so bad that were not comfortable getting on the boat and decided to cancel the trip and asked our driver to take us back to our hotel. Importunely the "excitement" didn't there. On the drive home our driver got in a car accident then got in a physical fight with three men from the other vehicle. This fight carried over into our vehicle as we were in the back seat. The driver appeared to have stolen the keys to the vehicle that hit us. It seems likely that the "accident" was intentional.
Overall, this booking was a nightmare and a traumatizing experience and not at all what we paid for. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Prison Island est vraiment une île superbe ! Alex, notre guide français, était très très gentil et donnait beaucoup d’explications sur l’histoire du lieu. Le repas du midi était DÉLICIEUX. Seul bémol, le paysage de Nakupenda un peu décevant…

The tour took so much time . It was a bad management of time and completely unnecessary !
I would advise people to NOT take this tour .
First , when we got the island we were given several times for like . First 11:30 , 12:00 , 12:30 . The food didn’t come until 1:30 . Many of guest weee exhausted waiting for food . The food was sitting until everything was cooked . The food was disgusting and COLD .
I was so disappointed in the service , the laced attitude , and to have everyone waiting just get to cold food was a disaster !
I would advise people to NOT take this tour .

Nakupenda means "I Love You" because of the shape of the sand bank island. The sand was white, water blue and it was a great stop for a swim and sun.

Well, if u like sunshine and eating, kind of snorkelling... go there. I´ve been on a far more nice, intresting Blue safari. You can choose, its just tricky to find the right company.

La Excusion se divide en cuatro partes : una primera recogida por el crucero : muy buena , mandaron mensaje a través de TripAdvisor y fueron muy puntales . Puntaje 10
La segunda : ida a Prision Island muy buen paseo , el barco típico de madera ( Gracias Aladino !!) pequeño de la zona , muy interesante conocer las tortugas gigantes y la vieja prision . Puntaje 10
La tercera : para mi la más linda : visita a Nakupenda Beach un lugar increíble, el mar fabuloso , el banco de arena que se forma es hermoso ! La atención de los guías excelente ! La comida riquísima !! Langosta , camarones , pescado , fruta fresca. Todo muy bien atendidos !!! Puntaje 10
La última etapa : visita a Stone Town : aquí el guía que no era guía. Muy desganado, nos llevo por unas calles muy feas y al final nos exigió su típ , a lo que le dijimos que habíamos pagado 75 dólares cada uno la Excusion , dijo e insistió en su típ , este último guía lo pongo una calificación muy mala puntaje 2
El balance es muy favorable por las tres primeras etapas aunque esta última reconozco que me desagrado

This tour was incredible. The sand bar was the highlight. The food was perfect. I would recommend this activity whilst in zanzibar. If you get Chico as your tour guide, you're in luck. Hakoona matata ☺️
