Great directions from the cruise port straight outside of the gates to check in and then meet our guide Neil. Great private tour with just our family of 4. Actual tour name was: Roatan Sloth, Monkeys, Chocolate Factory plus Beach Club
We went off to the Sloth and Monkey portion of the day. Neil dropped us off at the front door of the Eco park and went to park the car and we got assigned to one of their tour guides. We ended up with a group of about 10. You start out the tour with an overview of the history and culture of the island which probably lasted 15 minutes.
After that we went up to the Sloth area and their keepers told us about the sloths and then let each of hold one and they were just absolutely adorable and I think everyone wanted to bring one home.
Next we went to the monkey enclosures and they were just absolutely hysterical. They ran and jumped on us and would walk across your arm to the next person. Our guide had some sunflower seeds that he would put on your head or in your pocked to ensure each person got some personal monkey interaction.
We also got a great photo op with a gorgeous macaw. Be aware that the Eco park guides encourage tips separate from your FiveStar guide.
Next up was a stop at the chocolate factory, which was more like a little chocolate convenient store. The chocolate samples were great and we would have been tempted to buy some but we knew we were headed to the beach for a couple of hours and it would have melted. The market place was cool and I loved getting some funky earrings made of recycled materials.
We requested to skip the rum stop as we don't drink and Neil made that adjustment no issues and no guilt trip at all.
Last stop was the beach break. In hindsight I wish we would have done a tour without the beach break. Nothing bad really just wasn't what I was expecting.
It was just a very small beach strip in front of a restaurant and there were TONS of tour boats anchored in the water so you were just chilling in the water sandwiched with tour boats very close to you on either side. Tried to order dessert at the restaurant but they were out of the 3 desserts listed on their menu the day we were there. The sand was powdery and the water crystal clear though so beautiful area.
Neil just hung out and waited on us to tell him when we were ready to head back to the ship. He kept up a great narrative about the island as we drove around and stopped and got a photo of us at the Roatan sign and had us back to the ship in plenty of time.

Neal was our guide for the day and he was amazing!! So informative with island information, great sense of humor, and an awesome driver (I get car sick very quickly and did not at all with him). Would highly recommend this company core touring Roatan! Especially Neal, he made our trip!!

Our guide was awesome. He keep us safe, he would help us get a good deal if we wanted to buy anything. He was super nice, stopped to let us take pictures, found people at the beach that sold things we were looking for. I would book with them again and again. Way better priced then anything from the boat.

Enric was our guide and was amazing. Drive us al around and was fun to chat with.he tool us to our locations and never tried to rush us. Very good experience.

This tour was perfect for my family. We had a private guide, Henry, who made sure everything was in place for us. Though it was a bit hot for the walk to the sloth/monkey/animal place, it was probably easier than driving through the traffic. After he drove us to the chocolate and rum factories in the air conditioned and comfortable car. One daughter has motion sickness and the winding, hilly roads were not kind to her. Henry had no problem with that, opened the window for her and kept checking in the rest of the trip. Our last stop was at the beach, where again, everything was taken care of for us, including the wifi password. We were back at our ship with plenty of time and never felt rushed. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time seeing the animals at the park in Roatan. Our guide Josel Diaz was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great experience in this beautiful country.

Excellent service from Roatan Five Star. Driver “Junior” was very helpful and took us to a beautiful beach after visiting the animals.

We had an amazing time! I freaked out because we docked at the opposite port where we originally planned our excursion out of, but we were told the local companies were all notified of any changes. Still didn’t make me feel comfortable but sure enough they were waiting for us! The van was great. AC at all times. When we stopped at the monkey and sloth place we were told to leave everything in the car because the monkeys were always a bit over friendly. Our guide, Wilson, proceeded to lock everything up so our stuff was secure at all times. The kids loved the sloths and monkeys. We then headed to the beach. We paid for 7 chairs because we were told prior to booking that we needed chairs for the beach, which were an additional $15 each. Once we arrived at the beach, there were no chairs separated for us as we anticipated since we had pre booked it. Wilson managed to get us 4 chairs and we enjoyed the beach for 2 hours. We wanted to try a local restaurant. Not anything from the ports since everything is chicken fingers and quesadillas and when we travel we like to try local cuisine. Wilson took us to an awesome local restaurant which was delicious!!!!! Wilson also gave us a lot of information on the island itself as he drove us around. Definitely recommend this tour and our guide Wilson!

Our tour guide Daniel was very nice, attentive, and informative. He allowed us to modify our tour to our preference. He suggested other activities to enhance our experience on the island. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see more of the islandthan just the commercialized cruise port.

We had a great time with the animals and enjoyed some yummy chocolate and rum! Denzel was a great tour guide he was very kind had a lot of information. He kept us very safe and was patient with us! The other folks along the tour were all so kind. I am glad we went with this company as the cruise ship excursions wouldn’t have allowed us to meet real islanders and learn about the culture! Great time absolutely no problems! Thanks so much!

Hello, does this tour take you to the Stone Castle Cameo Factory? Also, we would like to try some local food. Are there restaurants along the way or near the beach to get some lunch?
