Wonderful tea tour

Our guide Chisato-san was very flexible with our proposed itinerary. She came to join us in Kyoto and drove our rented car to Wazuka. Hariyama, Erihara and Ishitera are beautiful tea plantations we read in articles and wanted to see, and we managed to do one. We had a wonderful lunch at the farmer's house, where our picked tea leaves were made into food for us! Also tried nice green tea served at different temperatures. We were even offered the chance to visit the tea factory, seeing how it's made is really an amazing experience! Chisato-san would be a good guide for those who are serious about tea!

We just had a tour yesterday with Chisato(a tour guide) .
She was so great, and she has so much knowledge about tea industries and agricultural things. Her explanation about tea in Kyoto was so detailed well and she introduced us many attractive places. I believe she is one of the best tour guides in japan. I will definitely ask her for guiding next time too. Thank you very much Chisato.

Chisato Maeda was our tour guide for this excellent tour. She was amazing. She speaks wonderful English and was very flexible when one of our group had an ankle problem and could not do some of the walking. The tour of Uji town was very informative and the trip to the Tea Plantation was wonderful. She is very knowledgeable about the tea growing process and is very interesting. Our lunch with a local farmer was one of the best meal we have had in Japan!!! This is a truly wonderful tour with a wonderful tour guide. I would highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.
