Pierwszy mniejszy wodospad usytuowany jest zaraz za wioską .Prowadzi do niego wąska droga wzdłuż której znajduje się mnóstwo straganów. My byliśmy już po sezonie letnim i tylko kilka było otwartych . Może i dobrze bo oferowane "pamiątki" nie zrobiły na mnie dobrego wrażenia . Tandeta dla dzieci i jakieś niegustowne wyroby . W sezonie za przejście do małego wodospadu pobierana jest symboliczna opłata 10 som . Wodospad też nie zrobił specjalnego wrażenia . Ze wzgórza nad wodospadem był natomiast ciekawy widok i na wodospad i na atrakcyjną panoramę .Ku naszemu zaskoczeniu czynna była tam również kawiarnia . Można było coś wypić i spróbować lokalnego słodkiego wypieku . Obsługujący nas Pan był bardzo uprzejmy i przyjacielski .Ten wodospad odwiedziliśmy na początku spaceru wokół okolicznych lasów orzechowych .
Do drugiego , większego wodospadu udaliśmy się po obiedzie terenowymi Niwami .Dotarliśmy do rzeki i dalej podchodziliśmy sami .Ten wodospad najlepiej wyglądał z dalszej odległości . Niestety na zdjęciach wyglądał dużo atrakcyjniej . Kilka dni nie padało więc wody też niebyło w nim zbyt dużo .Samo podejście pod wodospad trochę bardziej wymagające. Śliskie kamienie wymagały uwagi a i tak pod sam spad wody nie było podejścia . Zostało zagrodzone i dalsze przejście było zabronione . Dookoła dzika przyroda , spokój i tylko szum wody przy wodospadzie . Z powrotem schodziliśmy przez wioskę oglądając zabudowania i pracę ludzi przy zbieraniu ziemniaków i innych tego typu zajęciach .Oglądanie wodospadu i zejście do wsi trwało niewiele więcej niż półtorej godziny .Polecam jednak przejście drogi do większego wodospadu w obie strony pieszo .
Nawet lepsze od samych wodospadów były spacery przy okazji ich oglądania i dlatego w sumie tak dobrze oceniam te atrakcje .

Nawet lepsze od samych wodospadów były spacery przy okazji ich oglądania i dlatego w sumie tak dobrze oceniam te atrakcje .

Nice waterfalls, shouldn't miss it, because there aren't so many waterfalls to see. Lots of shops on the way up.

The small waterfall (slightly wider but with less height) is the closest to town. We went with a guide, but the are several signs pointing you in the right direction, or better yet use maps.me to find your way. There are a number of stalls selling tourist stuff and a charge of 10 som (at time of writing about 12 pence) to get down to view the waterfall.
We were told that the path from the small waterfall to the big one wasn't passable due to a bridge having collapsed so we returned to town and set out up a different path to reach the big (don't expect very big) waterfall, ignore the first waterfall sign, this tries to send you to the small one again, but continue on the same side of the river. The hike is around 6km each direction but almost all of it can be done in a vehicle. We walked, the last 700 meters or so has to be done on foot as is quite steep with lots of steps or a bit of a scramble, young kids were doing it, but sensible shoes are recommended. Entry to the big waterfall was 50 som, but there were no signs to display the price so it may be done on what they think you will pay.
The views from both are good, the big waterfall better as you are higher up the mountain.

We reached the waterfall dueing off season timw on a rainy day. We could not see the waterfall. The hike outside the village was nice and easy to find. The last part is pretty steep. From Arslanbob around 400m in altitude.

Even though it gets more crowded, Arslanbob is still a wonderful place to visit. Don't miss to climb up the waterfall and enjoy the fantastic view from the top.

Small waterfall is okay but surrounded by hundreds and hunderds o f littl e booths selling chinesse goods. So surrounded by trash and crap . Although the bigger waterfall is bit better ... ´´

We visited the waterfalls as part of a CBT tour. We had a guide take us up the mountain from the village of Arslanbob toward the big waterfall. To get to the viewpoint, where you see the entire falls, took us a couple hours with my 5 and 6 year old children.
We stopped a few times to rest along the way. The trail was rocky but not overly steep.
The big waterfall is 80 meters high. You can see it from down in the village but you have to hike up to it to see how impressive it really is.
After visiting the big waterfall we hiked back down the mountain to the village, through the walnut forest and to the small waterfall. The small waterfall is much easier to get to, you can take a paved path right to the bottom and it's a short walk from the village centre. As such, the small waterfall is very busy. Locals and other Kyrgyz people from other communities like to visit it. There are small shop and vendors along the path to the falls so you can buy a snack or souvenir if you wish.
The small falls are still very impressive but only 23 meters high. You WILL get wet from the spray if you walk to the bottom of the falls.
If you are in Kyrgyzstan I'd suggest a visit to Arslanbob and it's waterfalls.

Vandfaldet er hverken stort eller megahøjt, alligevel er det turen værd at spadsere ned at se det. Stien snor sig nedad gennem skoven og det er et fint syn når vandfaldet kommer til syne, man kan faktisk gå rundt og soppe under vandfaldet og blive kølet lidt.

Kirgistan und überhaupt Zentralasien bilden trotz der vielen überragenden Gebirgsketten nicht gerade eine Hochburg für Wasserfälle. Ganz selten stößt man mal auf eine Andeutung von Kaskaden im nördlichen Tien Shan im Sailijskij Alatau, aber das war es dann auch schon. Grund für ihre Seltenheit ist das überwiegend trockene Klima, das tatsächlich nur im besagten Gebirgsabschnitt feuchter ist. Gar nicht feucht und im Sommer zusätzlich extrem heiß ist hingegen die Umrahmung des Fergana-Beckens, mithin also auch gerade Städte wie Osh, Uzgen und Jalalabad. Von dort strömen zu sommerlichen Wochenenden Besucher zu hunderten zum kleineren, da zugänglicheren Wasserfall nach Arslanbob, der für sie eine Attraktion bildet. Sonderlich schön ist der nicht, oft auch ziemlich schmuddelig zugemüllt, und das gänzlich bekleidete, da muslimische Volk drängt sich auf kleinem Raum unter der Gischt. Etwas hübscher ist der große Wasserfall, der den Felswänden des imposanten Khrebet Babash Ata entspringt, auch wenn man so etwas in den SAlpen hundertfach antreffen kann. Jedoch kommt man an ihn noch schwerer ran, was bereits beim kleinen auf Grund des steilen Zugangsweges nicht für alle Besucher ganz leicht ist.

The last part of the trail is steep and slippery and needs some good physical condition. But it's worth and you can enjoy a great view even the waterfall is rather small falling down a gorge. Be carefully as the area isn't that well secured. In case you're anyway in the area give it a chance but it's not a must have.
