When we visited this sprawling lake,it was slightly drizzling accompanied by a lovely breeze, the premises are well maintained and tidy. Walking leisurely is a memorable experience, there is a boating facility but a lot of waiting. Admission tickets are available at the entrance with various options for boat rides.

Beautiful scenic view. Charges around 150 for pedal boat for 2persons + 150 deposit which will be refunded. You could opt for motor boat too which would be 600/-

Boating facilities are available in the lake. This is operated by TTDC. Boating was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. However, the lake definitely needs to be cleaned to make it more attractive to tourists

We went as a family in motor boat which takes about 10 mins to go around the lake. Eventhough the ride time was less, it was enjoyable, quick and staffs at both the entrance, ticket booth, ticket checking and boat captain are courteous which is difficult to find in government operated tourist places. If you want to spend more time, you can take pedal boat but they wont allow if it appears for rain to start soon and also has a security deposit.

Another place to relax yourself. But the prices are not so great. They are charging separately for parking, Entrance fees is separate and for Boating you need to pay separately. Offering only 30 mins for Ride which is very less time and price is also costly.

Good boating experience. We took a motor boat which was roughly a 20 minutes trip. Would recommend to go on a regular weekday, else the wait time and crowd is too much

This is the centre of Yercaud I would say and hence always with a hustle and bustle around. You get to see a typical South Indian hill station look around, with quick eateries , photographers, sweater shops and obviously, lot of waste as well. An entrance fee is collected just for entering the boating area and then you can purchase various tickets for boating. And then you will have the same, old torn life jackets, pedal boats making creaking sound, the guy out there asking top etc. But we enjoyed the boating around the small lake. A pedal boat for 4 for half an hour cost as 200 bucks, which was reasonable. Could get crowded during peak time, So plan accordingly.

There are no house boats at this lake.however tourism industry at location facilitate pedal and motor boat rides that are enjoyable for family.

Hi,
The lake should be within 3 kms from Sterling Resorts, Yercaud.
For boating as per as i can remember for Pedal Boat without helper is Rs.170/- and with helper Rs.300/- and Motor Boat Rs.500/- for 8 seater and better to be in a group to get the amount shared among them.

Yes it is open on all days including Independence Day & Republuc days. Only in the election days they might work for few hours
