Most unexpected local, amazing views, sprawling area, hilltop temple with place to walk around, the ancient temple in a cave and nicely preserved. The hilltop is needs attention of local authorities as there was garbage and used liquor bottles, sadly the visitors seens to be careless and callous to beautiful nature.

A cave temple on top of the hills. Great view all around the temple. Enjoy the cool breeze on the top and view the mountains.

Temple is very small and it is located inside a cave. You have to watch your head while going inside and during exit. Best thing about this place is the Valley view and lot of space available for playing. Too many view points and nice place to click Photos. Worth visiting during the evenings and when you have the mist around the place. It is really worth going there multiple times to see the mist

Visited the place as it was on the list top places recommended at Yercaud. If you keep the history of the temple side, there was nothing much exciting. Did not see a proper priest at the temple other than lady in her gown attending the tourists. There is a partial view of valley down and table top kind of open unused space where you can a spin in your car itself. Can visit to tick the places visited.

This is one of the most famous temples of Yercaud. From outside, it looks like an ordinary building, however once you enter it, you realise that it is in fact a cave. Very nicely maintained, easily located and also a friendly priest make it a must visit attraction.

the temple itself is very small but a very vast empty field can be used for a lil picnic and the views are good. drive uphill to the temple is also good.
people and caretakers both should try to keep the place a little cleaner to be more attractive.

There is a large open space and the view point os good but temple itself is a small cave like structure.
The place is sadly littered with plastic and empty liquor bottles. Infact whole of Yercaud is littered with plastic

There isn't much in Yercaud for sightseeing but this temple is definitely something that one shouldn't miss!

If you have car; it's about 6 Kms and you can drive. Else, Bus service is there from Main Bus Stand that stops near Lake as one of its stops. OR, you can hire taxis for travel to and fro - not sure if some taxi would come just for this temple and where they do, they may charge more. Therefore, you may plan about HALF DAY sight seeing in Yercaud and there are many places worth seeing - probably you can cover most important places in a radius of 6 to 7 Kms. - DO NOT GO FOR SOME SIGHT-SEEING PLACES THAT ARE ABOUT 30 KMS. (LOOP ROAD / OTHERS) & IF YOU WISH TO THAT, YOU MAY HAVE HIRE TAXI FOR FULL DAY. Best wishes.
