Panoramic terrace with a breathtaking view of the Dolomites, surrounded by an incredible lunar landscape, only the view is worth the expense for the cable car (although it is always from binge, 56 euros ar in two for 4 minutes) I recommend getting to the pass early enough if you want to park, and that the day is very serene, otherwise once you reach the summit you do not see anything

Breathtaking place at 3000 mt. Recommendation to get by car to the Pordoi Pass and then take the comfortable cable car that in 3 minutes takes you to the top. For those who prefer trekking it is recommended to equip themselves, because although the route is not impossible, it requires adequate equipment.

Today we decided to go to the Passo Pordoi. From there we took the train up to 2295m - the summit of the Saas Pordoi.
We can really recommend the trip to everyone. At the top you have a great view of the peaks of the Dolomites.
In between you can also treat yourself to a meal in the restaurant. The prices are all quite reasonable.
We had a really great time up there.

If you are near the Pordoi Pass it is almost "sacrilegious" not to climb, either on foot with great difficulty or by cable car, to the top of Sass Pordoi, which is almost 3000 meters high. From up here, as you can well imagine, the panorama is vast, exciting and of rare beauty.
Obviously the considerable altitude suggests, or rather requires (even if you use the cable car), adequate clothing and the necessary mountain footwear.

I was on this mountain with my girlfriend during a holiday in Val di Fassa. The summit can be reached on foot, by climbing with a rope or with the cable car that starts from the pass of the same name. We chose the last option which is the fastest. From here you can admire a wonderful 360" panorama of the Dolomites. You can also see the Marmolada, the highest peak in the area, very well. Adjacent to the cable car arrival station there is a refuge that hosts diners both outdoors and indoors We were there in mid-August and the temperature was high around lunch, there were more than twenty degrees centigrade and you could easily stay in a t-shirt.

Easy to reach by cable car although you can walk up in about 1:30 to the fork. 360 degree spatial panorama. Lunar landscape.
The excursion to the Capanna is recommended for walkers but it is quite challenging in the last stretch. Always beautiful but in summer you can move around while in winter depending on the snow you are more blocked near the arrival of the cable car. The refuge is also good as a bar and restaurant.

Ci siamo arrivati dopo aver preso la funivia da Alba per Col de Rossi , poi una breve passeggiata verso il passo, quindi la funivia dal passo al SassPordoi. La vista da lassù ti lascia senza fiato, sia per la difficoltà di respirare in alta quota, sia Per la bellezza che ti si apre davanti agli occhi

erg toeristisch wintersport dorpje. Veel hotels, restaurants en winkels met zelfde aanbod. Er starten veel wandel/MTB routes en kabelbanen vanaf dit dorp dus ook zomers is het er druk

Da Canazei si prende una prima funivia e poi, all'arrivo, si cambia su una seconda.
Arrivati dopo questa seconda tratta c'è una bella camminata (un'oretta) per scendere al
Passo del Pordoi.
Dal Passo Pordoi si prende la funivia per salire a Sass Pordoi: quasi 3000 m.
Si può però arrivare in auto direttamente al Passo Pordo ida Canazei o da Arabba.

Ja , im Sommer traumhaft schöne Sache zum wandern und klettern !! Gibt auch schwierigen Touren dabei ! Fahre selber jedes Jahr hin !

Credo di sì, ma il percorso prevedere un'arrampicata finale non indifferente (ho visto arrivare gente ai piedi della stazione d'arrivo della funivia, dotatat di caschi, picozze e corde da arrampicata). Consiglio caldamente di interpellare l'ufficio del turismo, al fine di sapere esattamente quale sentiero seguire e con che tipo di attrezzatura.
