Very old house built and lived in by the Manabe family who went into hiding after being on the wrong side of familial confrontation (with Genji family) in Feudal Japan. House itself is pretty cool to see, especially since it is supposedly 400 years old. Also, there is a talking samurai robot that gives an explanation in Japanese.
Only downside is finding it. Wanting to avoid detection, the family built the house up in the mountains. So, unless you have your own vehicle, there is really no way to get there. And there are not really any signs stating where to go or how to find it. Luckily, we were staying with a local guy who kind of knew the way.
*If you do end up going: Walk down the stairs from the little parking area (room for about 3-4 cars). There will be a 4-way crossing, follow the smallest road (not-accessible by car) that is directly in front of you and you will see it in a couple minutes. ;)
