Imagine 8 Euro for about 10 minutes of boring visit and not even a taste of beer. Embarrassing cheapies!!!!

Gone on purpose, the museum is a small self-celebration of the two companies. Small and soulless museum, a little bit of history and some objects, you do not see the production even externally as you can do in other companies, excessive cost 8 euros, and in the end the beer costs more than going to buy it at the supermarket. Extremely disappointed, museum visit personally not recommended. The only positive note at the entrance greeted us a very kind, helpful and friendly employee.

For those visiting Biella this stop is certainly worth recommending.
On the site it is possible to purchase either the guided tour, which lasts about an hour, or choose the guided beer and cheese tasting.
In our case we opted for the guided tour, which we greatly appreciated, both for the detailed explanations and for the layout of the museum as a whole.
At the end of the visit it is possible to purchase local products, which I highly recommend, even for non-beer lovers... just to give a taste of the latest top-notch beer totally owned by Italy.

Despite not being very large, the Museum offers an interesting excursus on the roots of two important food products in the area and the subsequent industrialization that allowed the spread of beers and cheeses with well-known brands. Thanks to the kind employee, we had interesting information which integrated what was indicated in the numerous panels displayed in the two sections of the Museum.

we took a tour of the city, even going up to the "old" city with the ropeway. Nice town, with some interesting things, but little appreciated.

If you are visiting Biella, it is worth visiting this museum. Here it is explained how the mena Brea beer and the Botella cheese were born and the sbirro cheese born from the union of the two. The history of the entrepreneurial families is interesting and how they are still part of the fabric of the city today

Abbiamo deciso di visitare museo MeBo in occasione delle giornate FAI di primavera e la sorpresa è stata che abbiamo dovuto pagare comunque biglietto pieno al museo, 8 euro. La visita guidata è stata fatta da un'inesperta guida FAI al costo di altri 3 euro invece che pagarne 4 per la guida del museo che sarebbe stata sicuramente più esperta. La parte dedicata a Menabrea sono 3 stanze con vecchi macchinari esposti, da cui è pressoché impossibile capire il procedimento di produzione. La parte di Botalla sono due stanze. Ci saremmo aspettati a quel prezzo almeno la visita alla fabbrica o una minima degustazione come promesso dal FAI, che a nostro avviso dovrebbe limitarsi alla gestione dei suoi beni senza affiliarsi a musei privati. Un sacco di gente ha alzato i tacchi non appena è stata informata del costo. L'esposizione è carina e ben curata ma davvero risicata. Per acquistare allo shop una volta conclusa la visita alle 11 e 40 circa (venendo da Varese almeno volevamo acquistare lo sbirro per non sprecare il viaggio) siamo stati gentilmente invitati a tornare alla riapertura delle 15 per sovraffollamento/mancanza di tempo. Siamo quindi stati costretti a rimanere 3 ore in giro nella ridente landa biellese. Almeno lo sbirro e la Menabrea sono davvero buoni.

Piccolo museo diviso in 2 sezioni, una dedicata al birrificio Menabrea ed una dedicata al Caseificio Botalla. Piccoli spazi curati.Presente anche un piccolo shop di prodotti delle due aziende.

Museo piccolo ma molto ben curato, dove si sente il legame col territorio; guide molto preparate e cordiali, molto interessante sia la parte storica che il processo di fabbricazione della birra. Degustazione di birra e formaggi (molto buoni) subito dopo concluso la visita.
Consiglio la visita del museo con tour guidato, senza si rischia di non apprendere appieno la realtà che è stata creata.

First class experience, we enjoyed a tour of the brewery & Museum, which was fascinating and insightful by the Owner . Followed by a 3 course meal in an exclusive dining facility, were we enjoyed a selection of Menebrea famous beers

buonasera, vorrei sapere se l ingresso al museo è a pagamento e inoltre se è prevista una degustazione delle birre...

Ciao! La visita guidata al museo ha un prezzo di 3 euro. Siamo aperti il sabato e la domenica dalle 15 alle 19 e durante la settimana su prenotazione. Non è prevista una degustazione, ma puoi provare le nostre birre nel ristorante Menabrea accanto al museo. Ti aspettiamo!
