The city of Biella is decidedly small compared to other Piedmontese cities. We expected to find a very small museum.
Instead, we were surprised by both the size and beauty of the exhibits on display.
There is a paleontological section, then an archaeological one which houses, among other things, a room with pre-Columbian finds and a room with Egyptian finds including a mummy. But the jewel in the crown is certainly the art gallery, which houses two Salvator Dalì and two De Chiricos.
It is an unmissable stop for anyone visiting the city.

I visited the museum after being in Città dell'arte, I had read the names of the authors of some works, but I was positively impressed, both by the archeology section and by the 19th/20th century paintings, I mention Dalì, Margritte, Mirò, Balla, Fontana and De Chirico to name some Italians.
It's really worth a visit, on the first Sunday of the month entry is free.

Diviso tra collezioni permanenti ed esposizioni temporanee. In caso di mostre temporanee le riduzioni solitamente applicate non valgono. Ed il prezzo del biglietto non è proprio a buon mercato. Museo creato con donazioni di mecenati locali. Da notare la presenza di un Mirò, di un Chagall e di un Fontana.

Esperienza virtuale di Monet e Van Gogh strepitosa ed emozionante, ho fatto un viaggio comodamente seduta. Sembrava proprio di essere lì, il resto della mostra molto bello ed interessante... I quadri in movimento una vera bellissima scoperta. Personale e molto gentile e attento... Grazie mi avete fatto passare una domenica magica...un caloroso saluto

Il museo racconta la vita del biellese dal paleolitico fino ai giorni nostri ,molto interessante la raccolta di quadri .Da visitare assolutamente ,prezzo 5 euro

il museo non è molto grande ma raccoglie,collezioni private di industriali e personalità famose della città di Biella che hanno lasciato in dono alla loro città. interessanti i reperti storici dalla preistoria all'età romana.il prezzo del biglietto è di 5 euro e sono ben spesi.

Museo veramente bello... Interattivo, ben curato e ricco di materiale archeologico /paleontologico unico. Il museo si mostra in chiave Innovativa con didascalie molto essenziali ma di facile comprensione... Apprezzata la parte finale con una varietà di dipinti eccezionali. Sicuramente ci tornerò.

El museo ocupa el edificio de lo que fue el monasterio, se puede acceder al claustro de forma libre. Hay una cafetería en la planta baja. El museo se encuentra en la primera planta.

Where can I find genealogy information about my great great grandmother’s aunt, a Contessa de Chiavazza circa 1820 - 1850. My ancestor’s name was Domenica Bonino Velete de Ruata and died in Ecuador, South America. Thank you! 🙏🏼
