This is the remains of a very small fort overlooking the Caribbean sea. The views are spectacular but there is not a lot left of the first apart from 6 old cannons. If you are staying nearby it's a nice place to spend 30 mins but I would not recommend anyone driving any distance to visit the site. There is ample free parking nearby and entrance is free also. There was a portable toilet when we visited but obviously no gift shop or cafe

Free to visit, road parking outside. Pretty little spot, good place to pause for a picnic. Attendant and portaloo present

We were the only group there at the time so it was great to have the whole place to ourselves .the site visit was great, I love Caribbean history

Fort Milford is a small, well maintained fort overlooking the sea. Numerous crabs can be seen just outside the fort on the rocks. Apart from the information board, there are also benches and shady trees, making it ideal for small picnics and photo shoots. There is also a security booth on site making it a safe destination.

While it is a small fort. It was very interesting to visit. It takes about 8 mins to walk around the entire fort. The views are great.

Bought lunch and went over to have lunch while looking at the sea. Would definitely visit again. But is very close to the airport and the hotel I stayed at.

West of Airport Road, Store Bay Local Road road runs past the small dead-end road that leads to Store Bay Beach, and threads around the headland to hotel-filled and the ruined Fort Milford stockade.The fort, of gun-slitted coral stone, was built by the British in 1777, and briefly appropiated by the French during thier1781-93 occupation of Tobago.Of the six cannons that remain , five are British and one French.Surrounded by well kept gardens , that make a quiet, shady chill-out spot, the fort gives a panoramic perspective over Store Bay Beach and Milford Bay right up to Pigeon Point.
Rather than be like some negative reviews I have read about this site I thought to mention the history might enable visitors to see the site in a different perspective.It's a lovely historical area to sit , read or just relax and take in the wonderful views.

One of many fort locations around Tobago. Each has their own unique history, and the views are always magnificent. Tobago has such a unique and varied history, and I'm extremely lucky to have been able to visit! This one is small but lovely and serene. Unique entry. Not sure if there was REALLY parking, but we parked on the street, and no one said anything, including the man on duty. There were only a couple of people here. Close to the airport, end of runway..

This may be an attraction for students of military history. In truth, there is little to see except for a few cannons and a good sea view.
