The structure is damaged. The guard who was there does not allow anybody to go inside. As such, it is not a tourist place and can be skipped.

This used to be the place where Rabindranath Tagore used to stay when he visited Agartala. Apparently in those days lush green fields spread in all directions from the palace. As of today it is a ruin with a shut gate and nothing to see inside. The image is not the correct image above (That image is of Ujjayanta Palace). Would not recommend visiting as nothing to see there now.

Nothing to see here, due to non maintenance the palace lost its charm. You will see Only dirty rooms, broken stairs, stinking walls. At night it becomes a favorite spot for criminals. If government reinnovate this palace, then it will become another great attraction of Agartala.
