Looks like there are multiple public transit buses, but I didn't use them as I had a rental car. Depending on the time of year and number of tourists, the public buses appeared to be really full and waits can be long. If time is of the essence, I'd look at paying for a taxi or getting a tour shuttle and paying the extra cost to get up there. The view is amazing, but I personally wouldn't pay more than maybe 10 euro for private transport at most unless you plan on hiking through the area and making it worth the cost.

I would imagine you could walk it from the town below, just beware of the cars/tour buses as the road is quite tight and hairpin turns make it hard to see. Safe practices and keep alert!
