Brilliant trip to Etna and Taormina with our tour guide Paola! Due to a change of weather Paola was easily able to adapt the day and make changes to the trip. She was so knowledgable and it was clear to see how much she loves Sicily ❤️

Etna van tour

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time with Paola, our tour guide. She is very knowledgeable, energetic and passionate about the volcano. I highly recommend the tour since the Etna is such an important part of Sicilian history. Being a local of Sicily, Paola is definitely a good ambassador and an excellent guide.

Abbiamo fatto questa escursione nel giorno di compleanno del mio compagno... è stata una giornata bellissima tutta per noi. Davide la nostra guida è stato fantastico! Una persona gentile, colta e molto preparata che ha reso indimenticabile questo giorno. Simpatico, di buona compagnia e molto epatico e professionale.Il posto è bellissimo sua Maesta Etna merita di essere visitato. Grazie ed alla prossima .

Excellent hand-made tour of Etna and Taormina!

Totally excellent day — with David our guide — went to the top of Etna (via cable car and 4x4). Amazing views from the top — both of the craters and the coast. Very informative guide throughout the whole day. Flexible to meet our needs (private family tour). Highly recommended!!

We just completed a private tour with David. It was an unbelievable tour: started in Catania, learned about the history of the volcano and climbed Mt Etna, went to a honey, oils and liquor tasting in Zafferana and ended at the most amazing lunch and wine tasting at the Gambino Winery. If you take the tour ask for David, he was so friendly and knowledgeable! Amazing day, couldn’t have been better.

We booked the all-day tour for Etna and Taormina through the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel just the day before. They were flexible enough to take just the two of us on this longer tour while other guests did only the half-day tour.
We visited the Etna and some craters and on the way we learned about the volcano system. The second stop was at lava flow caves that we could not have done without a tour guide who had the necessary helmets and torches for everyone. The last stop of the shorter tour was a tasting at an organic producer.
The longer tour included then the beautiful old city of Taormina where we got more than two hours to explore ourselves.
All in all a great experience, especially for us who did not have a rental car available.
