We only stayed one night as we needed a break in driving.
Both Landlords were extremely welcoming and took the time to chat to us. The pub is very quaint and has a delightful covered outside area to sit and we close to eat there. We both had the warm goats cheese salad and it was delicious.
Our room was very clean with a small tv and tea and coffee making facilities.
Breakfast was a choice of cereals, juice and a full English. This was really tasty and plenty of it.
Would certainly recommend this place.

Made welcome by the land Lady and Husband. Good beer and food. Pub warm friendly, plain also dogs very welcome. A nice nod from the locals.

The setting is charmingly bucolic, however all feels a little frayed now. Two fireplaces however these were not lit despite being a cold evening. The menu is reasonable, though it seemed likely that the preparation was either done well in advance or by catering service providers as the food lacked flair or presentation, being reasonable pub grub. Worth noting for down your order and giving the paper to the service staff as there was some confusion when the food arrived, possible due to a seemingly rather relaxed outlook, that became increasingly jovial as the evening progressed.

We went for supper here as a family on 16.12.14 for my wife's birthday and I can honestly say it was really nice. The food was excellent. It is difficult in some places to get a steak cooked toy our liking but I asked for 'rare' and the chef got it spot on. The beer, which on the night was 'Jail Ale' from the Dartmoor brewery, in my opinion cannot be bettered, had been kept perfectly. The landlord and landlady were attentive without being intrusive and nothing was too much of a problem for them. A great evening in a traditional atmospheric English pub. We shall be back soon!

What can I say, but one of the best Sunday lunches I've had In a long time, as good as if not better than a home cooked Sunday Lunch. We will be regulars!!!

Veder sorgere il sole , liberarsi nell'aria e vedere i camini dall'alto è stato veramente emozionante. Rispetto alle altre compagnie due vantaggi: cesti da massimo 16 persone, partenza lontano dalle altre mongolfiere ( dalla collina ad ovest della città ) che dá più sicurezza al viaggio. Pilota esperto e gentile. Molto caro
