Katakolon was an unexpected cruise port on our girl's trip....so glad it was! Dora hosted us with a huge and clean tour van as well as energy and warmth. She made sure we got to do and see everything we wanted to with plenty of time to enjoy each stop. The sites were amazing and she even provided personal notes to make sure we didn't miss a thing. The honey farm was one of the favorite stops on our whole trip! Would gladly recommend this to anyone paying a visit to this beautiful stop.

I don't even know where to begin with this review. Ms. Dora was the absolute best tour guide. She was so knowledgeable and helpful with everything we needed to know. Her tour was perfect. The bus was clean and she was able to accommodate our every wish for the tour. If you are visiting here, you should absolutely book with Ms. Dora. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Visiting Olympia would have not been the same without Dora with Travel Dora! She was fantastic and entertaining making us feel at home throughout our visit. Her associate and our tour guide, Penelope who took us through the ruins was equally exceptional making the tour educational and fun! We thank you both for sharing your world with us!

Our private tour with Dora was perfect in every way! She picked us up at the port in a beautiful vehicle and talked to us while traveling to the different sites. The order in which she took us to the sites was well done to avoid the heat in the afternoon:) We loved the winery and our olive oil tasting there. Very informative! Klio's honey was delicious and we bought jars of it for gifts. We skipped the beach this trip. I would recommend Dora to everyone!!!

We had a phenomenal tour! As a travel agent, I book private tours and Dora did not disappoint ! I would recommend Dora and her company to all my clients!!

Our cruise line changed one of our locations at the last moment which had my whole family and I scrambling with our new location at Olympia. We found this tour and booked it hoping that it was going to work out and we were soo happy with it! Joanna was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with making the tour exactly what we were hoping for. We stopped at 3 different places but THE HONEY FARM! That was one of the coolest places we visited on our whole trip. Would highly recommend this to a group looking for a personally experience that makes you feel like a true local!

Dora met us at the Katakolon port, with kisses. Then she told us that Joanna would be our tour guide for the day. Joanna was interactive and engaging with my family and she is knowledgeable about Greece. She took us to the amazing Greek ruins at Olympia and then we stopped for an authentic Greek buffet lunch, complete with native dancing💃. It was wonderful. She explained the reasoning behind breaking dishes and dancing on tables for the Greeks. It was great. Our husbands did not want to shop at the port after the tour, but us ladies did shop!!! Joanna dropped us off to shop and took our husbands back to the ship. Joanna, thank you so much for this memorable experience. I will not forget you.

This tour was fantastic. Our driver/guide was wonderful, polite, and professional. We were very concerned about booking a tour outside of our NCL cruise but were assured by Viator beforehand and again upon pick-up that we would have more than enough time to engage in the tour and get back to the ship.
This tour was jam-packed with goodness and fun. First, we went to the Olympics site and archaeological area, and museum. Lots of walking, bring comfy shoes and carry water. Walking under the Olympic arches was truly spectacular. After a couple of hours touring on our own, our driver met us at the entrance for our next adventure - the Honey Farm which was about a 10-15 minute drive and nestled in the countryside. Quaint and charming. We loved the Honey Farm. My family of 6 (4 young adults 24-29, and 56 & 57 yrs old) bought so much honey and beeswax to bring home for ourselves, friends, and family. The hosts were so authentic and kind. We felt a true Greek immersion. They told us about harvesting honey and the process which consisted of honey tasting which was delicious.
On to our next adventure was a stop at a farm/winery. The winery was fantastic. We saw the grape vines and got a quick run-through of the wine making process. This wonderful family was relatively new in opening their farm to visitors but were the most generous hosts imaginable. I'd stay they will be extremely successful in this new venture and we were super excited to hear we were some of their first guests. They had a lovely table set for us under a covered patio where our host and hostess brought out snack after snack paired with multiple glasses of various wines. We purchased several bottles which they packaged for travel. So friendly and hospitable we felt like we've known them forever.
But wait.... our adventures were still not over --- we then went to a beautiful hotel who allows us full use of changing facilities, pool, and beach complete with tiki umbrellas and lounge chairs. We had just enough time for a quick swim in the sea before heading back to our ship completely exhausted but utterly filled with memories of a full day to last a lifetime.
One of the best parts of this experience and that's what this was... an "experience" was having a private driver in a comfortable van with AC. Our driver literally brought us to the front entrance for each tour, he seemed to know the folks at the honey farm and the winery which was totally cool and even more welcoming.
This was entirely a private tour and the most amazing experience. If you contemplating doing this tour, just communicate with Viator the hours that your ship arrives and departs and they will customize the hours to suit your needs. This tour was originally a bit longer than our ship would have been in port, but I had emailed with Viator beforehand and communicated my concerns, and they adjusted the tour so that we could still see everything but just didn't spend as much time at each place.
TRULY one of our most favorite tours.

Absolutely perfect day off the cruise ship in Katakolon thanks to Dora. We loved the private guiding and transportation Dora provided for our family of 5. We visited Olympia (with a private guide Dora coordinated), a honey farm, learned about olive oil production and ended the day with drinks and a beautiful ocean view. Dora shared wonderful information as we toured around and her Mercedes van was lovely. We had many tours during our 3 week trip. Dora was one of the best. Would recommend her 100%. Note - we traveled in June 2023. just realized that I never officially submitted this review and the latest date I could choose was August 2023.

If you're going to Olympia try to get Travel Dora! We were a group of 6, 2 of us had minor handicaps. Dora was very attentive & a great tour guide. Her Mercedes minibus was very comfortable & clean, I believe it seats 18. She was on time at our meeting point & an excellent driver. She brought us to a local restaurant for a great buffet. If we ever go back to Olympia we will definitely book her. We had 8 excursions on our cruise, hers was by far the best! Frascal PA USA
