Thanks for all the answers guys. Now in El Cotillo and have visited the lagoon beaches myself. I think that it is about 90%+ textile given the holiday time. However, as that includes t shirt and shorts all the way to bikini bottoms the size of a postage stamp, anything seems accepted. Didn't have any issues spending the day with nothing but a towel and a hat to keep a cool head. I am sure some disapproved but nothing is said or done. With respect to everyone here, I hope all enjoy this gorgeous setting as they each see fit. Will try more beaches tomorrow.

from hotel entrance either go to beach and turn right and walk untill you can go in to the water .from there we saw very few nudes but keep walking to the furthest away villa and before this you see lots more even some mixed with clothed people but the further you go past the last villa the more people bathing nude but no sun beds on beach but its quicker to walk from hotel along path to last hotel turn left and walk to the last 2 villas it is about 15 to 20 mins you can hire folding beds from a shop as you walk this way for 4 euros and 30 euros deposit a day you will get 30 back but ask the hotel if they have umbrellas as we left ours but in the room by reception there are about 50 used in a box so ask them for one and they might have sun beds that fold down

Anna. The Monte Marina complex in Esquinzo is fully naturist with a pool and sauna. These are SC apartments. You do have to cover up to get to the beach though, this seems to hack off a few people. Also the Jandia Princess and Magic Life AI hotels in the seame area have naturist areas

Elle se situe au nord ouest de l'ile de Fuerteventura. Il suffit de trouver le village "El Cotillo".

In aprile e fino a giugno la temperatura dell'acqua non è il massimo anche se si possono fare i bagni se non si è troppo freddoloso. Secondo il mio parere il periodo migliore per andare a Fuerteventura va da settembre fino alla metà di novembre dove la temperatura sia esterna che dell'acqua è ottimale.

Yes it has changed even in the past five years. At the moment there are between 35 and 40 hire cars parked each day and the nicest lagoon is more like Clacton than Cotillo. Sadly most of the babble comes from British tourists. We have started going further north towards the lighthouse: there are many coves and small bays along the coast towards Majanicho, and a lot less people!

The car park at the back of the beach is hard (although with a fine layer of sand). So I don’t think you’d have a problem there. There is a short wooden walkway, from the car park part way into the beach - but not very far. However, it’s a soft sandy beach and there are quite a few rocks towards the back. So I’d have to say, probably not unfortunately
