Stopped here for coffee whilst visiting village and so glad we did. Its tucked away in the church and we drove past several times!! There is plenty of free on road parking and it is dog and cyclist friendly. There is a really good selection of cakes and pastries and a choice of teas and coffees. Very friendly service to. Very highly recommend a visit and support this community cafe.

The friendliest most wonderful wee coffee shop experience. After a lovely dander from Hathersage we stopped in on a delightful November afternoon for tea and were served by the most polite staff and sat in the sun in the graveyard. Just what we needed!

Not only does it have a good range of basic items the bread is delicious - esp the sour dough, the cakes excellent and Hope Valley Ice Cream always goes down well.

Community run shop with a mix of branded and home made produce based in the church vestry, serving excellent coffee and home made cakes. A few tables in the churchyard to relax before or after a walk

Really friendly welcome (thanks John!). Selection of cakes and hot drinks. Other snacks in high season. All the home essentials are here plus more adventurous foodie treats. Seats inside and out. Helpful advice on spots to visit locally.

Had a lovely visit to the cafe, purchased two lovely hot chocolates and millionaires cakes. We sat in the glorious winter sunshine in the outside seated area. The staff here were really friendly and gave us excellent directions for a different route back for our journey. Highly recommended, we will be returning on our next visit! They were open on a Sunday too. The disabled toilet is clean inside the church itself.

Walking from Curbar to Grindleford and back again, we saw the sign for the William on the footpath. Eventually found it, but was closed.
It was raining, it was miserable but we walked to the church to find the Community Shop open and serving teas. We spent the best part of an hour eating a lunch: wonderful Cornish Pasty, Cheese Pasties and Granola bars. We were made very welcome by a lady we think was called Jane and we were supplied with extra hot water for the pot of tea.
