我们是两个朋友一个月一次水疗中心位于不同的位置。 这是我们到过最具本地特色的一个, 30分钟的旅行。 我们有一个招牌点心打电话我们其中一个人忘记他们预订了一个客户端来满足! (怒吼)还有一个随机车敲门的声音 - 不在保修范围之内有两个女人在一个车库里寻找。 我们很晚才! We were very disappointed with our recent day at the Y spa. We have visited before several times and always enjoyed the day, however left yesterday feeling we would not be visiting again. No welcome or welcome drink, no slippers provided and worst of all was lunch, which consisted of a variety of heavy appetizers. Desert was served at the same time, and on the same plate, leaving us feeling that the staff/management really could not be bothered.

On a different note the foot treatment that I had was a delight, the therapist friendly and helpful and the treatment itself lovely. Shame the day as a whole let it down, certainly not worth what we paid for it.

Lazy Sunday afternoon package was pleasant but lunch was disappointing. It was like a random buffet selection mini smoothie, caramelised onion tart, pakora, rocky Road, chicken and bacon mayo on a bit of bread - awful. Would probably put me off returning.

Beautiful spa with friendly helpful staff.
Quick check in on arrival and guidelines explained.
Towels and Robe available in lockers.
Spa itself has 2 steam rooms, 2 saunas, an ice room and a beautiful heated outdoor pool / jacuzzi.
Bar available for drinks which are charged to your account and paid in check out.
Very enjoyable relaxing afternoon spent.

I have been to the spa quite a lot and obviously Covid has affected The way it works, I know it’s lots of little things missing, I know the company has to drive efficiencies, I don’t think this should be the cost of the customer, where the customer is then feeling a little bit ripped off

The spa was lovely, the staff in the cafe and spa were really lovely and the whole morning was lovely until we went for lunch. We were expecting a limited menu because of covid, but there was actually no choice whatsoever, just one option. The main and pudding were served on the same plate. We asked three times for our drinks, it seemed to be too much bother for the staff. My drink finally arrived after I'd finished eating. We then waited at the exit to pay for the drinks for quite some time, staff had seen us but didn't come over, so we decided to head to the spa reception to pay for them, then a waitress asked us very rudely to go back into the restaurant to pay. It felt like a completely different experience compared to the first part of the day.

Excellent spa with top notch service. Staff so warm and friendly, spa itself relaxing and with plenty of things to do. I had a 60 minute facial which was so relaxing. Knowledgeable and professional therapist, high end products were used. My skin felt so good after! I was totally relaxed. The spa are managing the Covid restrictions well.

Considering covid and the situation we’re in, I would of expected to see staff members cleaning. In the three hours of being in the spa I didn’t see a single staff member, let alone cleaning. The pool says 8 people at a time but there were times we had 13 in there and no one was checking or adhering to the rules. Most people didn’t wear a mask in the communal areas and definitely not in the changing rooms! Again though, no one was checking. I also was surprised that the hairdryers were allowed as all other gyms etc have taken them away as they disperse air particles further.

This was our second time here but our first having lunch included. I was disappointed by the lunch to be honest, as on the yspa itself and the hotel webpages the mezze lunch was, and still is, advertised as soup, quiche, bruschetta, cheesecake etc. But on being served we were given salami, chorizo (one circle of each), falafel (2 small balls on a cocktail stick), a small bowl of lettuce with mayo, one tiny bruschetta with coronation chicken and one with spicy salsa, then 3 cake ‘bites’ and a bit of yoghurt. I spoke to the waitress who served us and explained this wasn’t what was advertised and she shrugged and said said well this is what you’ve got! I then watched her move glasses with her hands inside the glasses and an open jug of water from a table with two guests on, to a spare table where she laid it out for two new guests! Again given Covid, you’d think that the water would be covered and she wouldn’t put her hands in the glasses let alone move them from occupied tables!

I decided to approach the lady seating people to tables, she took a photo of the menu on their webpage and shortly came to tell us the chef had never seen it before and neither of them knew why that’s on their page! She kindly said they could make me another platter up, so I was then expecting something similar to what had been advertised... I did receive a small bowl of soup, but unfortunately the ‘platter’ was exactly the same as before but with a pile of feta and olives instead of the coronation chicken and falafel 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷‍♀️ At this point I gave up and decided to be hungry for the afternoon instead!

The menus are in my photos, still displayed on their webpage this morning too!

Having not been out out for a long while and slightly apprehensive about how the day would go regarding all the restrictions, I was very pleased. Every measure had been taken, all the new rules were explained and made perfect sense. Everybody adhered to them and the day was thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable. I very much appreciate how much hard work must have been put in by all of the staff. They were all so helpful and friendly, which added to the overall magical experience. Absolutely fantastic :)

Having been to the spa many times before I can honestly say this is my favourite. The staff are always incredibly helpful and go beyond their role to assist. We visited today and the measures in place to protect customers and staff were excellent. My only criticism is that they have replaced the substantial buffet with miniminal "mezze" for lunch and we had to drive to a restaurant on way home as it was more a starter. We gave feedback to restaurant team leader to which she laughed and said "yeah not a lot is it" we are both fully aware you can't operate as before, however I overheard many others saying how small the portion was for two.

My third visit to date. Some pros and cons.

Pros: Good value for money, nice food (we had lunch) and pleasant staff
Cons: The behaviour of a minority who ignore Spa etiquette .... yakity yak on their mobile phones in areas where people are trying to relax! Selfish beyond belief. More staff in spa area would help. No other cons :) Enjoy!
