Particular square, very beautiful with beautiful designs on the houses. Definitely worth visiting! For GPS you have to look for Piazzetta Bethlehem!

Walking the sun cycle path from Mirandola to Bologna we stopped at the information office of San Giovanni in Persiceto and the very kind girl advised us to go and see this little square in Bethlehem. Really very pretty decorated with these trompe l'oeil that enhance it... too bad there is little attention to preserve them.

This little square, not far from Porta Garibaldi, is undoubtedly the nicest thing to visit in San Giovanni. If you arrive in the morning you may be lucky enough to see it alone and appreciate the fairy-tale paintings on the facades of the houses.

In a small square in San Giovanni there are these painted houses that portray animals and plants in an imaginative and fun way. Really a nice idea.

Nice decorated square, I don't recommend it if you're not already in the area because it's not an unmissable attraction... it's not so much the decorative technique that amazes but the subjects portrayed that are curious. In the square there is a restaurant with outdoor tables where you can continue to admire the decorations of the square.

Una delle piazzette più belle che si possano vedere, peccato solo che l’asino che vola è un po’ sbiadito e rovinato, sempre però una meraviglia!
Altra cosa molto graziosa da vedere è i pozzetti a terra, colorati e disegnati! Molto grazioso! Se passate è d’obbligo una visita!

Sia nella primissima versione dedicata a Zavattini che in questa merita sempre una visita. C'è da aggiungere che San Giovanni camminando a piedi nel centro storico riserva molte sorprese!
