One of several beaches in the Alicante area ,clean sands ,shallow water with gentle waves ,good beach amenities and very popular ,there's a nice promenade with some great bars ,cafés and restaurants along ,all in all a great beach to check out if you're in the area.

Fantastic sandy beach and the water is quite shallow quite far out so good for kids, many decent restaurants and ice cream places to relax at and just enjoy the environment

En stor och bred strand som är öve 10 km lång. Många mysiga strandrestauranger direkt vid sandstranden. Strand barer på stranden med solsänguthyrning och mysig musik.

Clean hotel food cold needs more organization in the restraunt it was a childrens hotel but kids were not allowed to play with balls or use lilos in pool
There is nothing around the hotel to do no restraunts or bars to go in night unless you take taxis would not return again

Via een lange loopbrug kom je eerst op een klein stukje bewaakt strand, via een stuk strand wat meer op een vuilnisbelt lijkt kom je op een redelijk schoon naturistenstrand waar wel heel veel zeewier en dode vis lag. Heerlijk lang en rustig. Maar die troep overal is schandalig.

Your question does not say where you will be walking from! so the answer cannot be given definitely, however, the beach in Guardamar is in town, from the promenade you can walk east or west for quite a long way. Walking to the east you will eventually arrive at the pier jetty near to the marina at the mouth of the river "Rio del Segura".
There are lots of nice walking beaches around this area, you will be spoilt for choice.Hope this is helpful.
