Quartier ancien charmant à ne pas manquer. Très belles maisons bien décorées. En haut très belle vue d’Alicante. Petites rues à escalader et à photographier.

Le quartier à ne pas manquer

Un quartier qu’il ne faut pas rater. C'est le plus ancien de la ville , et clairement le plus charmant. On y trouve quelques points de vue sur Alicante, le quartier étant situé en hauteur ! Surnommé « el Barrio » Il se compose de quelques ruelles piétonnes et escaliers, bordés par des maisonnettes blanches recouvertes de céramique ou pots de fleurs.

House with the blue pots

Take the West walls path down from the Castle. Great views. Steep, so reasonable mobility required. Pretty white washed terraced cottages with the famous House with the blue pots. Come out into the old town.

идеально инстаграмная улочка, для шикарных фото - срочно сюда. Мы были утром в 11-00, людей было очень мало, что дало возможность сделать очень яркие фото, и даже танцевальное видео снять)) чуть выше есть смотровая площадка на крыши города. После чего мы отправились в замок Санта Барбара. От туда идти минут 15-20 (все зависит от нагрева солнца и сколько у вас воды с собой). Рекомендую всем туда попасть за фоточками.

The oldest district of Alicante is located at the foot of Santa Barbara Castle. It was here that the city of the Moors was called Al-Lakant. This helps explain the complex layout of Santa Cruz. The Arabs used a special street layout to combat high summer temperatures. Directly from the elevator from Mount Benacantil is the Gothic Basilica of Santa Maria with a clock and a Baroque portal. In the evening, the Holy Cross area becomes one big restaurant on the streets. Restaurants are placed tightly, one to one. Only the waiters understand where their tables are. We chose a restaurant on the Plaza de la Santisima Faz. Under the palm trees. Romantic. ...

If you visit Alicante, make the effort to visit this lovely area. Not recommended for people with mobility problems as there are lots of steps.
We actually stayed in an apartment there and once we got our bearings, it is only a 10 minute walk from the main high street.
One thing that would be nice are directions for tourists as it is a little convoluted to find it and get there.
