For those who admire and love nature this little trail leads you to a 500 year old araucaria that is worth visiting! The route is quite quiet and accessible by the very avenue Monte Verde (the main of the city).

Very legacy to see a 400 year old pine tree in the middle of the city of Monte Verde. Entrance between the Caluan store and the restaurant Forno de Minas. 3 min you are already in Pinheiro.

Quiet and very pleasant trail. In the city center, easy access and the only free one in the city! The pine tree is worth knowing and embracing.

We are 65 years old, we are not sedentary but we are not athletes either. We took this small trail that has several facilities. The trail is very short and only has a few damp spots on the ground and some steps that are a bit demanding on the elderly. It is only signposted up to Pinheiro, after which there are no signs and this raises questions. Positive points: Pinheiro is beautiful to photograph, the source of the river on the trail on the right is also accessible and, if the pedestrian thinks that their balance does not guarantee a safe route, it is very easy to give up.

Discovering a 400-year-old Araucaria 10 minutes walk from the city center is a privilege.
One of the only free attractions, which the city and its MOVE agency prefer to hide. The address is WRONG on the MOVE website.
Access plates are very old or have been torn off.
In theory there are 4 accesses, but we only found number one. 1, the easiest. See photo showing the access location

Access (I think number 2) is very bad, hidden sign, graffiti...for a while we thought they were in the wrong place...but Pinheiro is incredible, and it's free. If you're traveling with younger children, it's a good option.

A trilha é bem pequena, e você vê de perto a natureza, do lado de um restaurante, não vi placas, foi os funcionários do restaurante que me indicaram pra dar uma volta com meus cães

Trilha curta e aconchegante, tranquila para fazer em família fiz até Pinheiro Velho. A entrada 1 em ruazinha de acesso fica Restaurante Forte de Minas entre loja Caljan segue fotos, o Waze joga pelo outro lado…

A trilha é plana, curta e bem sinalizada. Acesso pelo centro de Monte Verde, próximo a loja de chocolates Grossoney. O "pinheiro velho" na verdade é uma araucária muito antiga, dizem ter mais de 500 anos. Vale à pena fazer a trilha pela simplicidade e facilidade de acesso. Nada de mais.

Trilha fácil, curtinha em uma área bonita de mata localizada no centro de Monte Verde, fácil acesso, tem muito araucárias e esquilos, é gratuita.

A atração é grátis!
Fácil acesso, não lembro o nome da rua que entramos, mas pode verificar em um guia de Monte Verde ou com os moradores, a maioria deles é bastante solicito em ajudar!!
