Lovely beach. I read in advance that dogs are only allowed on the south beach passed the fancy bridge where the groynes start. My dogs loved it. Took my mum and found plenty of seats for her to sit on. Parking was free where we parked near to the docks. Enjoyed a lovely gelato on the sea front. A lovely quiet beach with some lovely views and walks. Would highly recommend.

Really disappointed with gorleston, went with a dog and there was no where dog friendly, spent over 20 minutes walking from the shops to the beach with my dog and my mum in a wheelchair, to not be able to even take the dog on the beach. Also couldn't take the dog in to any amusements or shops, so if you do have a furry friend, maybe this is not the place you should visit, nearby great yarmouth or hemsby beach are alot more accommodating for dogs.

What a find, free parking and the best beach I think I’ve ever seen, lovely cafe with 48 types of cake on offer, we went back the following day!

We hadn't intended to stop here but Gt. Yarmouth was rammed, so very glad we did, what a fabulous beach area it has with ample space. Numerous facilities to provide everything you need. Also an old fashioned bandstand which had a big band fortunately playing the day we attended. Unless I'm mistaken parking was free (24hr limit) on the sea front. If you just want time on the beach, I'd highly recommend this as a place to stop.

Excellent seaside. Not too busy. Great for a bit of crabbing. Excellent bubblegum whippy ice-cream. Whenever we visit our caravan at Burgh Castle a visit to Gorleston is essential.

What a gem …. Had a lovely day on this amazing beach , food drink and ice creams just to the back of us , definitely visit if in the area

Worked for over 2 years here about 300m from the beach, one of the best in England, can be windy.

Beautiful beach lovely place but got locked in the car park as closes at 9 we was clearly there before 9 no one to be seen and barriers down phones the number to speak to someone she was quiet rude others was locked in to security clearly wanted to go home they eventually came back but tried to fine us . Other than this nice place to visit

Went to the annual cliff top gala. This is a lovely treat put on every year. Plenty to do. Great music. We listened to a band called The Craft today. Very nice music. Easy listening. Had a lovely day.
Food selection was good. Nice selection of local ales.
Great to see Deans Beans there aswell. Very tasty coffee.

Whats the access like to the beach my mother has mobility problems (not in a wheelchair) but cannot walk up and down a very steep ramp. Also whats the parking like there?

The parking is good and free. You can usually park at the hotel end of the beach. There is also a free car park at the clifftop.
As for accessibility there are various ramps /steps along the lengthy promenade, some are a very gentle slope.

I walked the beach every morning just after dawn. Mostly dog walkers or joggers and most said good morning. I never felt unsafe even though i was on my own

Are theyre any seafood stalls selling crap, crayfish, muscles, cockles?
What are the attractions like, is it a fair and arcades? Are they reasonably priced?

There is a small arcade close by , with a couplr of cafes and shops. Did not see any seafood stalls on the day of my visit ,also there are some rides on the beach near by. hope this helps.
