Restaurante com boa apresentação e higiene. Não muito “fino” mas o suficiente para aquilo que pretendem. A comida é de facto melhor que em alguns restaurantes “finos”. Adorei a experiência e a repetir.

Passeio ao Pulo do Lobo

É sempre bom rever este local e agora com a construção de um passadiço com vista para uma boa parte do local, ainda ficou melhor. Recomendo

Espaço natural de grande singularidade e de uma beleza marcante. Enquanto a construção dos passadiços não é concluída (parece parada a obra) o acesso é complicado e exigente fisicamente.

A great place to appreciate nature and its creations.

This beautiful and special rock formation combined with a waterfall and a lake can be approached from the east or from the west. Both require about a 20 minute drive from the main highway on an asphalted raod and then 1.5 - 2 kms of good dirt road.From each direction you will get a different angle and experience.
The eastern approach (starting from Montavlo on N265 next to restaurant Agostinho) will lead you to the car stop where an incredible new wooden stair construction (which is just before completion) allows you a long and interesting walk along the river north and south of the waterfall. You will be able to appreciate those amazing rock formations made of schist and other metamorphosed sediments. You can almost touch the lookout on the western side of the river.
The western approach starts from Mertola. Just follow the signs. Do not be misled by all kinds of reviews saying it is a difficult drive. It is not. The last 1.5 kms are indeed on dirt road with a good slope - just drive carefully and it can easily be done. That is the better side to appreciate the waterfall. We enjoyed both sides.
Definitely worth visiting if you are in Mertola.

Com os passadiços quase concluídos é um excelente local para se visitar e desfrutar da vista. Com acesso por estrada de terra, cerca de 2 km's consegue-se estacionar junto do inicio do passadiço. Indo ao rio pode-se refrescar.

You get there after a couple miles of unpaved road. It isn't stunning, but certainly a nice view. Worth the visit, if you have time to spend around.

Sem dúvida um local a visitar.
O portão encontra se fechado, mas dá para abrir e descer de carro.
Parecem poucos km para fazer a pé, mas pode durar cerca de 1h, pois tem muitas descidas, subidas, curvas etc. Atenção ao calor.
