We are there for a week with a couple of friends.
rented a car for 1 day with the hotel rental agency and Isabelle responsible for this position
Vehicles are delivered to the hotel s parking lot, the day before at 10pm in the most complete darkness
Vague explanations , a contract ticked by the owner tt in English and quickly... payment by CB
The next day we discover the vehicle ..inside as it is ....sand halos on the seats and especially a defective clutch with alarm signal to report this problem accompanied by a burning smell
20km / in 1st to climb the not great hills
We shared it on our return and ...no reaction so beware especially

Shallow sea, nice beaches, sandy beach , nothing exciting , you park easily, beaches offer free umbrella if you consume in their restaurant.......

Beautiful beach, wide with sand, many places overlook the sea and offer free sunbeds and umbrellas in exchange for a drink. We chose sunbeds the first row and had lunch directly there on the sea... Beautiful, half seasoned

Good beach....good enough shallow waters...you have to walk, walk and go in enough to swim!!and this is something you get bored....from beach bar has some 3 well...until there..warm water the sea...until there..

Lovely hotel, food amazing. After breakfast every morning we went for coffee at the Luna Bar and always had fantastic service and amazing coffee made by Barista Kostas, unfortunately if Kostas was on his day off there was a real difference, long queues and coffee warm hot.

A beautiful complex and staff at the top welcoming and always available. A special mention for the always cheerful and hyper Leader RADO Animator. The shows he organizes are of excellent quality and there is something for everyone. The whole team, with its responsible animator Coralia PAUL and choreographer VANINA are at your disposal.
RADO also calls on outside artists to enchant your stay.

The resort is lovely, the facilities are good and it's right on the beach, with ample sunbeds provided (pools and beach). Unfortunately the meals are very poor. The food layout in the main restaurant is shambolic, none of the 3 toasters were working fully satisfactorily. Overall, I think the hotel needs a good competent catering manager. Saying that the waiting staff are really good, and very helpful. The Bar staff especially are all extremely unhelpful, miserable, and at times downright rude. I reported the telephone in my room as not working on the day I arrived, and when I left 1 week later, it was still not fixed. I reported it 3 times and each time I got a different excuse. The hotel's "free" beach canoes were all broken, all week, so the attendant charged for the use of borrowed canoes. The hotel never seemed to want to fix anything, canoes, toasters, or telephones. An amazingly beautiful resort in a great location, but because of the problems I have listed, I will not be returning.

Just back from a week in the resort. It was very tidy and clean with all members of staff acting as ambassadors for the resort - special mentions for Vasilias and Stella on the reception bar who were brilliant. Simu and Santana on the Entertainment team were great too - especially with our teenage daughter - and the whole team work so hard. We went for a quiet, relaxing week but fair to say we could have chosen to do much more with great connections to the local village and wider island - in addition to the entertainment in the resort. The standard of the rooms and housekeeping was good although well worth a short walk into Roda rather than the on-site shop. Wi-Fi around the complex could be better although getting away from mobiles etc was part of our reason for going so didn’t bother us much. The pool area and choice of entertainment was great for all ages. The let down was the food and dining room - better variety and choice would have made a big difference. Better organisation of the dining experience would also have helped address the queuing system (and people’s frustration with others pushing in). However it did mean we explored more of the local hospitality with Alexandros on the beach being a favourite! Great place, people and with minor changes could be much better.

No, town is a 10 minute walk along the beach where there are taxis and bus services.

Hi all, looking at Roda for next year. Are the shops, tavernas etc along the seafront or in the village? Looking for a resort where we can walk along the seafront of an evening choosing a restaurant/bar...would Roda offer this? Thanks :)

Roda offers both shops and restaurants on the seafront and within the village. There are several hotels facing the sea, including some resort villages. The beach is sandy, shallow water for several meters, ideal for those with small children. The promenade that leads to Acharavi is very beautiful. The area is well served by buses.

Is Roda Beach open to public? Or do you need to be part of one of the hotels or resorts to get on beach and get lounge/umbrella?

The beach is open to anyone all the tavernas have a section you just choose and this year the beds and umbrellas were free great
