Wonderful experience. We did a tour in April 2023. We were the only people in the group so it was super private. Jonathan is a great host and guide. He Has a great knowledge and passion for olives. This tour was the best experience we Has surfing our stary in Corfu. Highly reccomend!

We had such a fabulous morning learning about olive trees and olive oil. Jonathon was an excellent host, explaining the history of the olive oil industry on Corfu, and how things have changed dramatically since the 1970’s. He talked about the mechanisation of the olive picking, and how to recognise good olive oil by smell, appearance and taste. Absolutely fascinating and his passion for the olive industry is inspiring. We had a lovely meze with all local produce and wine. The tours are a maximum of 12 people and as a result are very personal, lots of interesting questions and answers. Really recommend the trip if you are in North Corfu x

Well this was a great experience if you want to really learn about how Corfu used to be and about the e ology of the area. Jonathan was so knowledgeable about the production of olive oil, they way it should be produced andwhat signifies a good oil. We had tastings, a history and lots of info on the land and ecology. This was well worth a visit. We had meze at lunch with all local products and local wine.
On our way back we visited the family olive oil soap shop and were able to buy pure soaps.
This is the best "real" experince we have been on. Highly recommend

Just returned from this amazing tour. It’s nice because it’s a small group. Jonathan is intelligent, passionate, friendly and interesting. The tour takes place on the property in a small village. Jonathon and his family have lived in the area for generations and are truly committed to local sourcing and living off of the land. His knowledge of the history, processing, and regional regulatory landscape are impressive. The tour concludes with a delicious sampling of local foods.

A real highlight of our holiday. Jonathan and Chrysa are charming hosts, with an incredible knowledge and passion for what they do.
After being picked up from our hotel in Roda, we spent a very enjoyable morning walking through their beautiful olive grove up in the hills, with plenty of stops on shaded seating, whilst Jonathan shared stories of life on Corfu, and explained the history of olive cultivation, how olive oil production has evolved and future challenges.
Next the olive oil tasting - we learnt so much about how to identify and store quality olive oil…and what to avoid!
The morning finished with a delicious, homemade, meze lunch and red wine from their own vines. Highly recommend, if you are visiting the north of Corfu.

What a great trip! It reminded me of one of my favourite childhood books, The Secret Garden, only this time you step into a hidden olive grove amongst the hills in Perithea.
Johnathan and Christa are just fabulous - so engaging and enthusiastic about what they do. We learned so much about olive oil and the history of its production and finished off with a wonderful meal and homemade wine.
The whole tour was organised really well from the moment we were picked up from our hotel. The key stopping points of the tour have plenty of seating in the shade and there is even a loo! The time flew by and we were sad to leave.

Visited with family, Jonathan picked us up from our villa and we had a perfect morning learning about olive oil, how it is made and more importantly how to choose the best, followed by a lovely lunch with homemade wine prepared by Christa. Fascinating and all in a delightful setting. Sustainable tourism at its best. Thoroughly recommended.

Went on the tour with wife + 2 kids (4 and 7). Had a fantastic half day in nature and learning tons from Jonathan and Christa. They are a passionate young couple eager to share their knowledge and perpetuate this incredible craft.
No problem with small kids.
Would highly recommend as a half day activity to add an informative layer to your Corfu trip.

My friend recommended this tour to me, telling me it was the highlight of his trip and that I must do it whilst in Corfu. So we did, and we were not disappointed!
Jonathan was super friendly and so knowledgable! It was eye opening to hear about the challenges he and others are facing within the olive oil industry and to be told the tips and tricks of how to find the best olive oil!
This trip was great from start to finish, Jonathan picked us up from our hotel and took us to his olive grove, where his partner awaited our arrival to give us water and prepare a lovely little board of food for later on, either handmade by herself (including olives and wine) or sourced locally. Jonathan then took us back to our hotel afterwards.
I can’t recommend this tour enough, it is definitely worthwhile, you will learn a lot and have a really pleasant few hours :)
