I would certainly hope not. It's a big park with lots of dry grass and thus a major fire risk. Please act responsibly and do not think of ever having a BBQ on open land. Even if we get some rain it will not reduce the risk of a fire as the water will not penetrate the dry ground.

If you are not a NT member then £8 is a car park charge. Until Dec 2nd all indoor facilities are closed then as Lyme is in Cheshire it is Tier 2 so the house will reopen. You should not travel from Tier 3 e.g. Greater Manchester to Lyme after lockdown. You must also book a 1/2 hour time slot to arrive on the day you wish to go otherwise you will be turned away even if you are a member. Once in you can stay until closing time. No it is currently closed. You will need to check the national trust website for details of when they might reopen.

The park grounds are free to walk around and extensive. The house, car parking and gardens you do have to pay for unless you are a National Trust member and it’s all free of charge.

yes they definitely can. we often take adult fold up bikes and see both kids and adults enjoying bike rides.
