The place is very poorly maintained, in a state of total abandonment! It was possible to visit only a very small part of the structure because the rest was practically unusable

One of the largest cisterns of ancient Rome, also called the cathedral of water due to its grandeur, is an archaeological site definitely worth visiting, preferably with a guide, to better understand its function. Recommended.

A fantastic visit to a wonder that has been neglected for too long and with a "mirabilis" guide: Gino. He accompanied us on a journey through the myth, reminding us of the Latin origin of many words and enhancing the territory of the Campi Flegrei with passion, irony and simplicity. Highly recommended to everyone.

A little off the tourist routes. The guide Anna Pia (I hope I remember her name correctly) was fantastic, she made us passionate and I ran to buy "Pompeii" by Harris.

Fascinating place. But 8 euros are really too much. It is with a guided tour to justify the price, but tries to enrich the discussion with collateral topics. Better 2 euros with an explanation poster

We were visiting this wonderful and evocative archaeological site, made even more beautiful by the guide Gino who captured and fascinated us with his way of telling and transmitting all the passion of his work. Congratulations to all the other management staff who, with care and dedication, try to bring back into vogue a historical testimony of such great value

The archaeological site is certainly very interesting but I was disappointed by the guide, an apparently bored and hasty gentleman who gave us the necessary information in about a quarter of an hour and then said goodbye, leaving us alone "so he could take photos".
I also wondered what a broken and abandoned school desk was doing on such an important site!!

Huge Roman cistern, it supplied water to the fleet present in the gulf of Baia and Pozzuoli. Gino, an excellent guide, tells the story of the place and its history wonderfully.

Interesting guided tour of the grandiose tanks created and used by the Romans to supply the warships stationed in the nearby port.
It is not very correct to indicate as an affiliated car park a dirt and dusty area without any shelter from the sun, which is accessed via a road closed to traffic (you must register to avoid getting a fine), at a cost of 5 euros (practically the same as the entrance to the Mirabilis swimming pool ). Considering that the visit lasts 45 minutes, the cost of parking is a theft endorsed by the museum structure.
Look elsewhere, there is a convenient staircase that leads from the lakeside car park to the swimming pool

Buongiorno. Trascorrerò questo fine settimana a Bacoli. Vorrei sapere se ci sono giorni e orari di apertura della piscina Mirabilis, se è necessaria una guida, se c'è un percorso da rispettare e quanto dura, se è necessario prenotare, se la visita ha un costo e in tal caso dove acquistare il biglietto. Vi ringrazio anticipatamente.

giorni e orari li puo trovare sul sito della cittadina di bacoli, non è necessaria una guida, il percorso è libero e ricordo che non ci sono costi d'ingresso. ripeto la pecca maggiore di un gioiello come questo è la poca valorizzazione in tutto!

Vorrei sapere se da Napoli ci si può arrivare con mezzi pubblici e eventualmente quali, quali sono i numeri telefonici da contattare per poter accedere al luogo: un utente ha parlato di una signora che abita vicino al sito, un altro di un signore contattato telefonicamente. Grazie

Allora da P.zza Garibaldi Stazione centrale delle Ferrovie dello Stato. prendere la metropolitana in direzione Pozzuoli e scendere dopo due fermate a Montesanto. Raggiungere il capolinea della linea della Cumana, direzione Torregaveta e scendere a Torregaveta, prendere l'autobus per Bacoli e scendere nella Villa Comunale di Bacoli. Affianco al bar prima citato c'è la stradina ( scalinata) che porta alla Piscina Mirabilis.
Oppure da P.zza Garibaldi Stazione centrale delle Ferrovie dello Stato, esistono gli autobus direzione verso (monte di Procida) e (Torregaveta) della SEPSA e scendere alla villa comunale di Bacoli e accedere alla stradina che porta alla Piscina Mirabilis.
