Often we do not realize that near home we have wonderful treasures that deserve even a half day to restore themselves with such splendor. The Villa is an incredible surprise with a beautiful garden but above all its amazing water features. We were accompanied by the talented Guide Elena who made us discover the secrets of this Villa. Unmissable, half an hour drive from Milan for those who do not know what to do half a day. Recommended Reservation.

The park is beautiful and the nymphaeum is beautiful among shells, stalactites and unexpected water features. It's nice to think about how much wonder and amazement these simple special effects must have produced. The state of conservation and restoration works are excellent. The guided tour is recommended.

A jewel that, although in sight, remained hidden from me. Upon entering you can discover the "villa of delight" designed by Viscount Pirro. Absolutely worth visiting.

There are no words to describe the enchantment of this unexpected Lombard jewel; a show of art, harmony and culture... surprising and witness to the wonders of which our ancestors were capable; Yes it leaves you speechless and in addition to learning you have a lot of fun with these precious water games, I recommend it to adults and children ... who acted as our guide (visit at 4.20pm on Sunday 12th, it was perfect, never boring, in fact extremely fun

Guided tour, Silvia accompanied us with professionalism, competence and friendliness, the nymphaeum is stupendous, the interiors of the villa are beautiful and the history of the families who lived there is also very interesting.

A pleasant discovery in the Milanese hinterland: a delightful 15th century villa built by the Borromeo family, re-adapted over the centuries and which has survived to this day. The jewel in the crown of this noble summer residence is the nymphaeum, a fascinating place where you are captivated by the beauty of the fountains and the water features created to amaze the noble guests and which, even today, never cease to amaze visitors.
Congratulations to the volunteer guides who illustrated the history of this wonder to us in great detail. Thanks in particular to Mr Adriano who followed us into the rooms of the buildings and gave us a small unscheduled tour.
One piece of advice I would like to give is perhaps to create dedicated tours for groups of families with children in order to give the right space to their lively playfulness.

I had been to this villa for a wedding a few months ago and I must say the park is very beautiful, well-kept and also the water games attraction is nice
A few days ago I returned for a visit to the palace and I must say it was truly disappointing.
Paying €5 per person to see practically nothing seems somewhat exaggerated to me. The interior of the building is not furnished like many other FAI villas, but there are only some bare and empty rooms (few) with some frescoes on the ceiling.
I would rate the palace experience as terrible and from my point of view entry to it should at least be free
However, the ticket for the garden, with the guide and the water games, I find all in all reasonable

Vorrei sapere da chi c è stato se è davvero bello come sento dire da molti, e quanto si paga l'ingresso sia per adulti che per bambini.

Buongiorno, VillaLitta apre alle visite guidate da Maggio a Ottobre, principalmente al Sabato e Domenica pomeriggio. I prezzi sono: 10 euro per gli adulti e 8 per i ridotti (bambini dai 6 ai 14 anni).
Consiglio una visita nel periodo più caldo, una vera delizia per i più piccoli con i i giochi d'acqua nel magnifico Ninfeo.

Buongiorno sono Aldo Croci Presidente della Associazione Amici di Villa Litta che gestisce la stagione di visite in Villa.
Ci spiace dell'accaduto ma come pubblicato sul sito ufficiale villalittalainate e amicivillalitta e sul sito del Comune di Lainate, la nostra stagione di visite inizia il primo Maggio e termina il 31 Ottobre.
Purtroppo capita che in internet in diversi siti ci siano informazioni non corrette e di questo ci rammarichiamo ma non sono informazioni ufficiale del Comune di Lainate o della Associazione Amici di Villa Litta

Dear Mr Michele Paris, I'm Aldo Croci President of Association of Friends of Villa Litta which ,since 25 years, organize guided tours, rooms renting, events. We all are volunteers and the yearly income we generate is reserved only for maintenance and restoration of our Villa.
We appreciated a lot your comments and suggestions also to buy the english leaflet.
For your additional information , we organize also french, english , german language guided tours but only for groups of 20 persons each booked in advance. Every year we have an increase of people coming from our countries. But ,during the normal opening on Sunday, Saturday etc, we have only italian language possibile if we are not informed in advance of presence of other languages.
In the next future our plan is to publish additional books in different languages . Thanks again for your comments and we hope you will forward your compliments also to your friends because we think this is the major channel for publicity of our , unexpected Villa which is in a small group of 5 beatiful Villa in Lombardy region. Ci sono entrate ogni 20 minuti dal primo pomeriggio. . Si arriva si aspetta pochi minuti e appena si forma gruppo si entra. Io non ho prenotato nulla. Non ti so dire quale sia l'ultimo orario di entrata.
