Widana runs a small, but professional dive centre, that’s very relaxed and takes very good care of you.
We did four dives with one of his dive masters, who was very helpful, knew the local dive sites very well and took amazing photos that were included in the price!
The dives at Gili Mimpang and at Gili Tepekong were particularly amazing.
Widana himself also took our 14 year old daughters for a discover scuba morning, which they loved and felt very safe.
I would thoroughly recommend this dive centre, just make sure you get in touch in advance via WhatsApp.

One of my best mentor in my life. Pak Wid will teach you more than you expected. Best place if U want to explore underwater and looking the beauty of the inside of Padang Bai sea.

Don't underestimate Padang Bai dive sites if you are underwater macro lovers or macro photographer. Either Widana himself or Didu will show the amazing underwater critters - the smaller the better they are. Both, are not only great spotters I have known but their knowledge with underwater photography is excellent. They will keep you busy underwater and still remind you not to deco.
Their shop is far from luxury but their service is top class - a Balinese hospitality. People will say, diving holiday is diving, eating, sleeping. Here, add with talking. I always enjoy talking with Widana, his lovely wife and Didu.

If you are macro photographer, This is the best in town i can say. Best spotter , best hospitality, will never try another dive company in Padang Bai

I've dived several times with Widana in the past couple of years. He and his team are amazing in spotting critters. And the hospitality from his family is amazing. Can definitely recommend!

This guys really know how to spot!
We asked for a seahorse and a frogfish and saw 4 of them in different colours!!! As you know, you have to be lucky too, but still they have a very good knowledge about which animal you can find on different plants, corals,
or anemones. The owner, is a very kind person, hes a Makro photographer, too.
I can highly recommend them!

My boyfriend and his friends decided to try diving after so many considerations lol. We went to Padang Bai and greeted by Pak Widana himself, very friendly and helpful. He explained to the guys who will have their very first dive experience. He accompanied during the day, from beginning to the end. We started from 8AM and finished around 2-3PM for two times dive. It was really great, they also served us warm tea and fruits. Very recommended!

I hadn't dived for quite a few years and had just taken a refresher course. I then researched where to go diving for the day. Staying in Sanur Padangbai is quite close (just over an hour away). I booked Widana based on price and reviews and could not be happier.
Made Widana and his family are the loveliest people you could hope to meet. He is clearly not in this business to become rich but to share his enthusiasm and knowledge. Made and his Dive Master I went with could not be more helpful and for someone who hadn't dived for a few years (other than a refresher) they were quick to offer advice and feedback which has proved invaluable.
I have dived with the on four occasions now in the last month (8 dives) and have seen turtles, white tip sharks, puffer fish etc. As for the macro options such as nudibranchs their ability to spot and ensure you see all that this area offers is excellent.
I concur with all the positive reviews and would suggest that Widana is not just for macro enthusiasts but for divers of all levels who enjoy a well run dive with good family hospitality.

Wir haben zwei Tauchgänge mit Widana gemacht. Widana hat sich bei beiden Tauchgängen sehr viel Zeit für uns genommen und uns damit eine tolle Unterwasser Erfahrung ermöglicht. Widana ist ein sehr erfahrener Taucher der uns sowohl über als auch unter Wasser einen tollen Service geboten hat. Er kennt sich in den lokalen Gewässern sehr gut aus und hat die Tauchgänge unseren verschiedenen Bedürfnissen gut angepasst (AOWD und OWD). Klare Empfehlung!

We did 4 amazing dives with Widana Divers based off a recommendation from a friend and were not disappointed. If you are into photography or just love critters and macro/muck diving then this is the place for you. Widana and his team are wizards when it comes to spotting, finding us all kinds of different nudis and critters. Most dives we saw upwards of 20 nudibranch and often between 5-10 different species and variations on a dive as well as seamoths, frogfish, ladybug, candy crab, hairy crab, and a orangutan crabs just to name a few.
The diveshop itself is no frills but its small group sizes (often just 2-3 divers) and great value for money being significantly cheaper than the other dive shops in Padangbai. In addition, a lot of thought when into selecting dive spots based on what you wanted to see and dive conditions.
Cannot recommend this dive shop more highly for macro and photography lovers. We will definitely be back.....with our 5mm wetsuit if diving this time of year as the water temp was a very fresh 24 degrees.
