A beautiful gorge with walls of volcanic tufa. A good place for great pictures. Accordingly, overflowed at the weekend (that was quickly with the good pictures). Overall I found the gorge quite short, are probably only about 500 m.
The parking situation on the road is quite difficult. You just park nearby at the top of the road, if you find a gap, and then have to walk a few hundred meters along the road. Afterwards, it goes down over the guardrail on a tramp path. Finally, under the road bridge (tunnel-like opening) through into the gorge.
Touristically developed the gorge is not really. Neither the signs nor the way down are good. The visit is free of charge.
Such a gorge also thrives on light. We were there in the morning, and then the walls of the gorge literally lit up.
Worth seeing for a detour on a drive through the mountains.

Nice natural place, although in the photos it is exaggerated. Too bad it's been promoted too much. It's overcrowded. Watch out for parking tickets.

Very nice indeed when you finally get there. Hard to find and incomprehensible that parking is no longer regulated and indicate where it is. Then very important that you are there at the right time: between 11.00 - 14.00? Unfortunately it is then very busy but otherwise the light is bad. Don't expect a color spectacle like Utah.

A very-very small canyon, accessible through a storm drain tunnel. Not much to explore, maybe 7 bends, and 500 meters in total. Overcrowded and dirty with littering. Your time is best spent elsewhere on the island.
(I can only imagine the dangerous situations that could occur when more serious rain starts to fall)
This is not a well managed tourist spot, and locals from the villages nearby absolutely hate the recent traffic and chaos created on their access roads by the flocks of careless instagram tourists.
Only accessible over narrow roads with blind corners, wandering or swerving on these small roads makes it a dangerous place to visit for families with kids, or basically everyone.
Not worth the trouble caused to the locals and environment. Don’t go there

Not worth it at all, this is not a grand canyon and internet show as a beautiful place, well it is a normal mountain side of the island but definitely not a grand canyon

Beautiful place that is reminiscent of Antelope canyon in the United States
Access: no parking, no marked entrance, and no sign. You must park as close as possible along the road to this GPS point (27.9106010, -15.4739850), cross the parapet and descend along the trail formed by the many visitors. The trail is quite stony with a medium difficulty but still; I would not advise the elderly because there are in places rocks to cross.
But the reward is at the end of the road despite the attendance: it takes a little patience to take pictures without tourists. It is superb especially in the morning, when the exposure is good.

A beautiful canyon. A bit hard to get to but worth it. Park on the side of the road and walk a bit before you get to the path. :)

A small walk.zoon 200 meters but definitely worth to see .make sure you arrive on time in connection with parking.although you can also easily park your car along the way

We loved our visit here it was absolutely stunning bit hard to find initially but found it in the end bit sad “tourists go home “ spray painted at the entrance but apart from the it was amazing

Our stay there was only short but worth seeing! For us it was just too many tourists who used this place for social media photo shoots... Therefore you could not really enjoy the place without someone standing in the way for THAT one photo. But it's still worth it!:) - in one photo people are retouched extra away!! Please don't let it detract:)
