Beautiful experience between heaven and earth. The Dordogne, gardens and castles rising from the mist to the rising sun. The experienced pilot took advantage of the winds and offered us a dream without fear or vertigo.

Our balloon flight with Mathieu was excellent. We were fortunate to have enjoyed fantastic weather for our evening flight during mid-September. Mathieu flew us around and over French Chateaux and winding rivers and made a perfect landing. We then enjoyed Fois Gras and a couple of bottles of Champagne (I Googled the bottle and it costs £50 in the U.K.), so no short-changing on the hospitality. Also, we were sent a link to all the photographs that the Go-pro took of us during our flight that we downloaded without cost. Balloon flights are not cheap - especially for a family of eight, but if you're going to do it, do it with these guys. Thoroughly professional and reassuring to less confident flyers.

A beautiful journey in the air during a bright afternoon on a beautiful landscape seen from the sky and in silence. Pilot Rating Olivier very professional in his comments, total mastery during maneuvers forms a friendly duo with his assistant Simon, thank you for this experience.

Laurent and Dominic from Montgolfière et Chateaux gave us the most unforgettable experience. I cannot praise the company highly enough, from start to finish. They looked after us so well and we were extremely impressed by their skill, competence and professionalism, as well as their friendly and charming manner. The scenery is breathtaking and speaks for itself. Truly an experience of a lifetime. Helping with the set up/take down in our small way made it all the more fun. Sincere thanks to Laurent & all at Montgolfière et Chateaux for giving us a memory that we will treasure forever.

Thank you for this wonderful experience for the first time I rode it in balloon the staff and the pilot after many explanations put me in confidence it was beautiful I repeat these people are passionate they give you very nice explanations during the flight before the flight and after the flight there were some postponements I was always well informed of the weather conditions thank you very much

We chose Montgolfière et Châeaux for close proximity to the campsite where we were staying in Beynac because to the meeting point we only had a 10-minute walk.
We have always wanted to fly a balloon, especially our son Luken, who has autism and let’s be honest, when hiring this type of activities, not many people “get wet”.
When making the Reservation by email (in French), we told them that our son had autism and what was the surprise that we called Paco at the moment (Spanish balloon pilot who works with them), we spoke with him in Spanish and we were able to explain the peculiarities of our son, he explained us what the flight would be like and reassured us saying that he would not see any problems, what is more, he would come with us as a pilot.
The flight? Spectacular! Paco gave Luken a very very special treatment, when he inflated the balloon he was able to enter inside him to take the picture, he always had him next to him, I let him participate in the landing maneuver, after the flight when they gave us the coffee Luken had prepared a chocolate shake... really, it was very special.
Apart from all this, commenting that this company is formed by a very nice, young team and the atmosphere they have between them is very very good.
Also thank Dominique for the beautiful photos that took us in mid-flight of an experience that was truly unforgettable.

Great experience with Matthew and his team!
It was our first flight and Matthew both reassured us and shared his passion as an aeronaut! Superb views, friendly passengers in short everything was there to make this flight an unforgettable experience!

Magical experience at sunset to celebrate a special birthday- beautiful evening, stunning countryside and enchanting castles! Olivier and Simon pliot and vo pilot were superb from start to finish - highly recommended!

We will be staying near St Emilion in May 2016. My wife is partly disabled but she can walk short distances - she is concerned about standing for a hour during the flight.
We would very much like to experience a balloon flight and I hoped that you may be able to accommodate us.

When we took the flight a disabled guy, sitting in a wheelchair, was helped to get in basket and took the full flight in the balloon that Lionel flew. I suggest that you ask Lionel for details. He is a true professional and definitely can give you a fare and square answer. He is also responsive and accessible by e-mail.
It is truly an experience to remember. Good luck!

We will be in le Bugue from of April 25-30. Do you have rides during those days?
If so, what is the cost for three adults? This might be a birthday present for my husband.
Should we phone closer to the dates we will be in the area and see what the weather is like?

Hello Susanne,
Thank you for your message.
Welcome in Périgord for a balloon ride above the "vallée des châteaux" .
I will be pleased to make you flight from the 25th to 30th of april but we need a nice weather to do so.
I suggest you to book now ; for this purpose I need your family name and total weight of each one (clothes, camera, etc...)
Then, you just have to phone me (06 71 14 34 96 or an email) one week before to confirm your stay in Dordogne and if the weather forecast is good 2 or 3 days before, the flight will be planned.
The "rendez-vous" is in Beynac et Cazenac early in the morning or by the end of the afternoon and you only have to pay after the flight (570€ for 3 adults).
