You definitely should book this tour. The boat is wonderful and the boat owner, René is an amazing person. It is already the third time I sail with René and I will come back again and again. This experience is an hidden gem and I really recommend it if you want a VIP yet affordable experience in Guatape.

Rene made the 2-hour drive from Medellin to Guatapé worth it all on his own. He taught us a lot about how to sail and we had snacks. It was overall a lovely day

La experiencia fue muy tranquila, mucha paz y conexión con la naturaleza. Logramos conversar sobre el velero, el embalse, entre otros temas. El snack muy rico y el clima estuvo perfecto. Es un plan muy recomendado.

Rene is a wonderful human being and we felt lucky to be able to spend an afternoon out on the water with him. He is knowledgeable, personable, kind and generous. My girlfriend and I were not sure exactly what to expect from this experience, but it is very much what you make it. If you want an afternoon of relaxing on a sailboat while enjoying the beautiful landscape and waters of Guatape, you will find that here. But we were very much interested in learning as much as possible during our time with Rene and he was more than happy to teach us. We enjoyed every single second of this experience and we are confident that we will book another trip with Rene when we are able to get back to Guatape.

This was one if the best experiences of our trip. Don’t miss it. Rene is an amazing guy who is super friendly and very knowledgeable about sailing. The boat is in great shape and the location is superb. Rene was so good with my girlfriend and really made learning fun and easy for her. He really made us feel like part of his family. I’m so glad we went sailing while we were in Guatape.

Rene was more than a pleasure to sail with. He was punctual and very knowledgeable about the lake and the local history.
He had some great fruits, great Colombian beer and most importantly a tidy and fun boat!

Fue una experiencia genial, de mucho aprendizaje en torno a los veleros y a la navegación. Pudimos compartir en familia un momento muy muy agradable con la guía de don René, quien trasmite mucha pasión por este estilo de vida.

Todo es maravilloso, desde elambiente cálido y privado del muelle pasando por el paisaje hasta la atención de Rene que con detalle se esmera en transmitirte la pasión del viaje velero. Nunca habíamos navegado así, y Rene se encargo de que quedáramos enamorado de estos recorridos

I think you can rent jets ski and boats, but not sure in this place. Here is for sail boats and I don't know if they rent. We went as part of a tour and we didn't asked. But you won't have problem asking in the area because there's a lot of Marinas that I think rent boats. The cost? Don't know.
