Visited New Quay for a holiday and was dissapointed to see this has closed and has now been turned into Air B and B holiday apartments
New quay has a lack of places to Eat and Drink with this closing
Also Dolau inn turned into Holiday lets
Hungry Trout closed
Wellington inn pub turned into a paddle board shop cafe
Queens Hotel being allowed to fall down
New Quay quickly losing the charm that made it special seems to be a place for countless holiday flats and nowwhere to go

Wanted to eat here having visited Penlon on the beach at a previous visit. The farm was a little hard to find, but the service & quality of the food was well worth the effort - great choice & value for money.

Great atmosphere. Great service. Great drinks. Great food. Really handy to walk to from Ocean Heights caravan park next door. About a 15 min walk. Will return every time we’re in New Quay, no doubt.

Myself,wife and our two dogs dropped in mid afternoon Sunday 13th October so glad we did.
The food was freshly cooked and very enjoyable.
The staff were friendly with a warm welcome for humans and canines.
The absolute icing on the cake was the Penlon real Ale unfortunately they only had the 5.6% left and with a long walk back along the beach in the interest of safety(mine!!) i had to restrict myself to two halves.
All in all a very pleasant way to pass the afternoon

We wamted a something kight for tea when my wife spotted the roof top terrace at the restaurant, so up we went. The restaurant is on the first floor and having arrived we found the roof terrace full. So we sat inside. The restaurant only serves pizzas but sells its own beer and other spirits.
We placed our order, Tinas was the Goats Cheese and Roaster Peppers (the Special) whereas I had the 4 cheeses which included a blue cheese. I ordered a Light Premium ale and Tina, a Lemonade.
I have to say that the ale was very tasty. The freshly made pizzas when they arrived, were delicious.
The staff are very friendly and the pizzas good.

Great little place with good pizza (simple menu) and Penlon brewery bar. Would recommend the upstairs terrace if you can overlooking New Quay beach and harbour.
They also have a pop up outside town open Thurs and Sat in beautiful countryside location... good little find...

After a late afternoon stroll on the beach we decided to try somewhere we hadn’t been before and stopped off here for a drink.
The views from the upstairs outside terrace were a real treat overlooking the sea and harbour, we could even have our dog with us which was a huge plus point for us as he’s a bit part of our family life.
The ale was really good and the smell of the freshly made pizza was to good to resist and so we gave in and ordered one between the two of us. It was delicious.
Great spot to really enjoy the views.
Friendly staff will definitely visit again.

We enjoyed our Pizza, choosing our own toppings was fun. We enjoyed the beer which is bottled and has a good flavour. The service was good,but I did notice a lot of empty boxes lying around, these could have been flattened and put out of the way.

And apologies for the box pile up, we have had a tremendous summer and at times have quite literally been run off our feet. But your comments have been duly noted.

Although I'm not a pizza fan, I visited the restaurant with a group of friends after a day in New Quay.
The beer was good, very good I thought and the thin crust pizza was well cooked. I enjoyed the evening and felt that it was a good meal and a place that I would visit again.
As I was so impressed, when a visit to the brewery was suggested a couple of days later I went along and again had a good meal as well as some decent beer. Bit of a trek along a farm track for nearly a kilometer but the view of the bay was worth it as well as the offer of a blanket as it was getting chilly.
Deffo worth another visit again by me!
