Wonderful plateau, a beautiful setting of mountains, meadows, at the edge of the sky.
I don't want to be as repetitive as in other reviews.
A beautiful place that has its costs. We fortunately with 2 small children did not pay the children's rate. But if you want to climb know that 2 adults 52 euros round trip. If you want to add another lift like the Florian 42 euro A / R a chairlift always for 2 adults! Plus the bus (it would be desirable for the shuttle to be free on the plateau)
It is worth parking before 8.30am up in Compash if you are in 4 people.
It is not a controversy but definitely not a place for everyone.

Also this year , our choice for a mountain holiday was the Alpe di Siusi. Here in South Tyrol, thanks to the culture of the population, there is great respect for nature and people. I find these places really exceptional and functional. This year Accommodation at Activehotel Diana, clean, nice and really good food. Friendly staff and always available to the customer. Excellent holiday

The Alpe di Suisi is a natural paradise: it will surprise you even on a day with variable weather thanks to its pastures, the exceptional explosion of flowers and the imposing peaks that surround it.
If you love walking, it can be reached from Bulla, a hamlet of Castelrotto.

Paradise could resemble the Alpe di Siusi, a plateau that seems endless, with sky and clouds caressing the mountains, green meadows, charming villages, churches set in the valleys, legends full of charm.
Choose a path and let yourself be carried away in a serene atmosphere because even in August you can find a corner just for you!

Recommended by our friends, the Alpe di Siusi was an incredible discovery. Despite the stories and despite trying to imagine it, the scenery that breathes is something Unique in the world.
First of all a plateau so vast as far as the eye can see at 2000m. One incredible thing is already lost, because the 600 km of trail that winds through the Alpe, take you first to 2,500m. Then 1,700, then 1,900 and then 1,800.
The other plus is the lack of cars thanks to the driving ban from 9am to 5pm.
Not to mention the unique beauty of the Alpine pastures, pastures and trails.
Everything really great.
I have traveled through our Alps, but finding yourself with 360 degrees of mountain ranges surrounding you is really exciting.

On holiday in Val Gardena it is compulsory to go for a walk on this beautiful plateau where peace reigns and dominate the green of the meadows, the blue of the sky and the Dolomites in the background. It is a paradise for families with children because the trails are easy.
This year we did trail 9 from sporthotel sonne to saltria. Beautiful, walking through woods and meadows with free grazing horses. On the way back the first part of the path is slightly uphill.

It 'a fantastic plateau in which the gaze is lost on beautiful meadows and fabulous mountains; there are endless paths that open you glimpses of absolute beauty, we have covered them both on foot and with e-bike bikes that allow you to expand the space covered ; I think that a week is not enough to see everything.In my opinion it's the most beautiful part of the Dolomites ever.

From Siusi you take the cable car that takes you to the plateau in about 15 minutes. From there there is a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and you can go for walks or horseback rides.

Wonderful plateau, with attention to every detail with the possibility of access to anyone. Any route on the plateau is characteristic. Definitely worth visiting again in winter.

My wife and I plan to visit Alpe di Siusi mid-Sept. Since I’m a landscape photographer, I’d like to spend an entire day there. Would like to stay for sunset. Question: Can I drive up there before 9am, and if so, are there places to park?

normalmente la salita all'alpe di siusi con auto propria è vietata dalle 9 di mattina fino alle 17 del pomeriggio.possono salire in auto solo chi ha prenotato un hotel .La soluzione migliore quindi è quella di usare l'ovovia che parte da siusi ed ha anche un enorme parcheggio.

Buongiorno, vorrei sapere se ci sono delle camminate facili ( in quanto ho due bambini piccoli) dove raggiungere dei ristori. In più c'è la possibilità di affitare delle biciclette e una pista ciclabile? Grazie mille

Camminate per qualsiasi livello di preparazione ed età. Ristoro tutti comodi e facili da raggiungere. Affittano biciclette e le strade sono pedonali e percorribili anche se non esclusivamente ciclabili.

vi consiglio di andarci in questi mesi di l'aria è piu fresca d'estate mentre di cui in umbria nei mesi di luglio e agosto c'è molta afa e tanto caldo pesante
