Sortie kayak en couple avec deux accompagnants qui sont venus nous chercher à l'hôtel où nous étions (et nous ont ramenés).
Départ en kayak de la plage de Samara jusqu'à l'île Chora où nous avons eu le temps de contempler l'océan et de ramasser quelques souvenirs avant de faire 1h de snorkeling où nous avons vu quelques poissons malgré les remous.
Collation gigantesque de fruit sur l'île accompagnée par les iguanes et divers Bernard-l'hermites
Malgré on regrette le manque d'accompagnement durant la plongée (surtout que nos accompagnants avait gopro pour prendre des photos), l'endroit où voir des poissons, prendre des photos, rester à proximité car il y avait des courants, etc

Our Carrillo adventure was an ocean kayak to an island wildlife preserve where we went snorkelling. The guides were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Worth it!

We did two tours. First, Mom and daughter went with Romel and Carlos, on what ended up being a private tour. Did the kayak/snorkel tour. Both guides were attentive and helpful to us novice snorkelers and kayakers. Lots of interesting sea creatures at the reef. They set the pace to our abilities and made sure we saw everything- eels, pufferfish, urchins... It was obvious our guides had great respect for (and knowledge of) the environment. Kayaked to a small island for fresh fruit and tea, and saw lots of iguana, crabs, and a frequent "raccoon".
The other tour was a family tour with dolphin watching and snorkeling; we were also lucky enough to see a whale pod up close. Coco and Brian were the best! One other person came with us. Again, the snorkeling was great for our novice son. When Mom and daughter got seasick, they went out of their way to take them to the nearest beach, while Dad and son finished the tour. Definitely worth the money!

We booked the snorkeling, dolphin and fishing tour.
As soon as we were 5 min away from shore our guy turns to us and says there is no snorkeling because it rained last night.
After a hour of boating around seeing nothing more than a stick here and there we got the fishing under way.
Only two poles for us 5, no bait only 8" lures and the rods were stuck to the side of the boat as we trolled to fast to catch anything.
It was just a way to give a boat ride in an old uncomfortable boat for $250.
Save your money and buy or rent the gear. They were only going to have us snorkel off the beach anyhow.
The next day I saw the lady that booked us, she asked how it went. I told her and got a that's to bad.
Just a big Rip off. These people stink.
I tipped well, the guide said he felt bad and would take us to see the turtles the next night. That was more BS.
The whole country is like this. Oversell, under deliver and they could care less.
I travel alot but never have had met people this bad. Earlier in the week we had tickets to the volcano park with are stay. It has been closed for months and months to come. Yet they sold us on it as a perk knowing it was closed and would be.
They were still selling others tickets in town only to walk into the park and find it closed.
BE CAREFUL, ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU GIVE ANY MONEY! !!
Just because it is sold as something does not mean it has anything to do with what your buying.

Sortie au top. 7 sur le bateau accompagnés de notre guide Bryan et du pilote. Du coup moment très convivial avec des accompagnants compétents souriants et fort sympathiques. Nous avons pu observer 2 baleines, une tortue et bien sûr les dauphins de très près... snorkeling un peu plus compliqué en raison des forts courants. Promenade magique. Merci à Bryan pour son énergie et sa bonne humeur.

Conseillés par notre hôtel le Esperanza à playa carrillo, notre tour "dauphins et snorkeling" a dépassé nos attentes.
4 sur un bateau, + le pilote et le guide.
Ils parlent très bien l'anglais et connaissent super bien leur job.
On a vu des dauphins, des tortues et même une baleine, fait inattendu en cette période.
Ils ont des boissons, des cookies et sont attentifs.
Le snorkeling est moins intéressant, la visibilité n'étant pas bonne.
Mais l'ensemble est très plaisant, à recommander vivement
4 sur un bateau, + le pilote et le guide.

We took a boat tour with Barney to take advantage of fishing, snorkeling and dolphin-watching. We saw a pod of about 15 spotted and bottle-nosed dolphins, and two Olive Ridley turtles. My husband caught a tuna, which we cooked up for dinner that evening. This was a wonderful experience for our family of 4 and we definitely recommend it. Barney was a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable about sea life. He also indulged us in our Spanish practice, which we appreciated very much.

Secondo la mia esperienza personale, questo febbraio 2014 ho visto una delle stupende spiagge che esistono al mondo: Playa Carrillo in Costa Rica. Consiglio a chi può di andarla a vedere. Costume maglietta e pantaloncini, nient'altro. Tante palme, una baia con una lunga e larga spiaggia. Un asciugamano e tanti, tanti bagni. Poca gente, paesaggio stupendo.
