距离费拉不远，我们是开车过去的，应该有公车可到达，这边没有费拉这么商业化，也没有伊亚的人潮，是个宁静的山城，蜿蜒的小巷柳暗花明，值得来造访

我本来想着我们来到这样一座美丽的村庄，和当地的人们进行友好的互动。但最后我们发现这个村子里面根本没有人住，除了一些在这里工作的人。所有的商店和餐厅都挤满了游客，我只看到了游客和一些商店的工作人员。当然了，这里仍然还是一座美丽的村庄，有一些狭窄的街道和一些教堂。但是你就不要想着可以看到一座鲜活的充满人气的村庄了。

我去过那里3次，一切都挺好的，但仅此而已。是的，你会发现，所有的岛屿上都是一样的。只有当你在某一天将一切联合起来观赏，它才值得驻足。这是一个传统的小镇，在那里，你可以看到一个一个叫梅洛维古老小镇，还有皮高斯和圣多因的小镇。

我们来主要是看图标博物馆顶部附近的卡斯泰利-但发现村里本身就是很迷人。也不完全是非旅游的-你仍然可以在这里吃一顿，找到一个很好的纪念品，并拍一些很棒的照片-但它只是从FIRA去 OIA的一点点路程，这是一个优势。只有如果你已经购买了多馆联合票，我会推荐图标博物馆给你，不是因为它是不是一个有趣的博物馆，但只是因为它是比较小的，完全可以在20分钟内看到—只是为了看看它就单独去皮戈斯不确定是不是不值得的。但是，穿过村庄，到顶端，是非常令人愉快的-你从来没有100%地肯定，你会在下一个角落所看到的-令人印象深刻的风景。

Hi, I'd like to ask questions in general about Santorini and other islands.
1) How do you travel around Santorini? We can't drive. I read travel guides saying there are buses which are not on time and reliable. Also, taxi, what are the prices, do they go by meters or a fixed price? and will there be any overpriced kinds of stuff? How can we avoid them?
2) How do you usually travel to other islands, and via what websites did you use to book tickets.
3) anything we shouldn't miss in Santorini? We planned to stay in the middle area, Thera (Fira), believing that its the best place for sunset as a Greek friend suggested us so. Thought, a few reviews saying that the top part, Oia (Thira), is the best part to see the sunset. And 1-2 nice restaurants that we must visit for good taste (also nice views), we prefer an average price tho.
4) what food do we have to try, apart from many types of cheese and wines (If there's any special type of cheese, that'd be nice to know)
5) Any local market or supermarket that we can find snacks, drinks, and especially cheap wines?

Depends how much time you have! We did a half day tour which included Oia,Santo Winery and Prygos which was very good with lots of variety of things to see and do.
We didn't bother with Fira and the volcano as we had already visited one elsewhere .
Thira is an amazing place to visit if you have the time but need to book transport unless you are a fit walker!

Dear Julie, to go to the museum by bus you will have to head to Fira and then from Fira the bus will take you to the museum. Take the bus which goes to Kamari and get off at Koutsoyannopoulos museum. E
