Op doortocht toevallig in St Peter gestopt. De dame van de toeristische dienst wees ons de weg naar dit klein maar zeker de moeite om te bezoeken park. Leuke wandelingen met mooie vergezichten.

We are traveling in an airstream. We have been to this park twice and have decided it’s one of our favorites in Nova Scotia. The views of St Peter’s Bay are wonderful. We stayed in site 7 and site 8. Site 8 is a pull through and allowed us to position the airstream t maximize the view. Both sites offered electric and water and excellent views. Post hurricane Fiona the park was in excellent shape. Staff is friendly and helpful. Peaceful and quiet.

Très bel endroit pour s'installer. Les terrains sont grands et la vue est superbe. Les douches sont très propres et sont gratuites.

- an excellent campground, with both electrical sites and unserviced sites. Many sites have a wonderful ocean view and some unserviced sites are extremely private. The dishwashing station is up amongst the electrical sites on the hill (the serviced sites themselves are level). There are a few short rails to try out within the campground, and the canal nearby. St Peters coastal trail is also within walking distance. It follows the shore (sometimes a bit inland) to the old disused railway bridge.

Great views of the Atlantic Ocean. Very private spots. Clean washrooms. Friendly staff. Going back soon!

We were able to get a last minute reservation at this beautiful provincial park while we were touring Cape Breton and stayed 3 nights.
Am I ever glad we did. Upon check in, the staff was extremely professional. We stayed at Site 6, a beautiful large pull through site overlooking the ocean.
This campground was clean, well maintained and offered a great location for touring the local area.
I can't recommend any site over another as they all looked great. We will definitely be back.

3 day visit. Spent time at the canal and did a sailboat tour. Good views from the serviced site number 33 we had.

Awesome covered picnic tables. Lovely brief hike up the hill to good water views, then back around camper area along road to cute lighthouse inlet. Also good views from opposite side of canal at the historical site

Once a year you have the possibility to swim the St. Peter’s Canal at Battery Park. For a fee of 20$ you can register and swim from the lake into the sea through the lock. This year 350 people participated and had lots of fun, even singing the National Anthem while waiting in the lock to open up. You could watch it on TV and loads of videos were shown on FB and Instagram. Battery Park itself is a wonderful place for picnics, watching the sun set, tour the park with guides and stay for the night at the famous campground. One of the best in NS.

Well maintained provincial parks with good views and nice sites. Only one flush toilet and shower building and it's at the top of the hill. The views make it worth it.
