We loved Gaku! My husband bought me a beautiful handmade glass pendant necklace, and we both made our own glass beads. I would love to go back, and buy another. If possible, would like to get in contact with the owners, to see if they could make and ship another pendant to Australia as I broke it slightly!!

天気が芳しくなく、3連休の中日の夕方にふらっと立ち寄りました。
店内に入ると小2の娘の目はランラン。やらないわけにはいきません（苦笑）
結構並んでいて、どんなトンボ玉を作ろうか材料を選びながらも、30分ほど待ちました。
職人さんが一人一人に付いてくれますが、説明がとてもわかりやすく、とても子供の扱いに慣れておられ、親は安心して見学していました。
15分ほどの体験で、夕方で宿泊だったため、翌朝に仕上げをしに再来店。
昨日の混雑の皆さんは当日持ち帰ったのか、完成までお店独占でした。
トンボ玉のデザインにより値段設定があり、仕上げ飾りのビーズ一つが100円、結局4000円！安くないです…。
でも、他のガラス工房でもトンボ玉製作を経験してきた方曰く、ここはかなりやらせてくれる、とのことでした。たしかに、4箇所ガラスを付ける場合、1つ目は一緒に、2つ目は手を添えながら、3、4つ目は一人で、やらせてくれていました。

We had a half day off the slopes and I wanted to do something different. It is run by a lovely couple, they don't speak too much English, but so they have some English price lists and they can speak some basic words. They were very welcoming and are very patient. I made my glass bead into a necklace, absolutely love it. While the bead cooled we walked to another attraction for a while and came back.

As parents who don’t ski, wandered around Hakuba with TripAdvisor. Thanks to prior reviews of this place, we decided to visit here and truly enjoyed the experience. Very happy visitor!!

スキーの帰りに思い出になるものをとホテルにあったチラシをもとに体験してきました。店内は本当にきれいなカフェのよう。飾られているとんぼ玉のアクセサリーに目を奪われます。これだけあれば、わざわざ体験しなくても好きなとんぼ玉を選んでネックレスやストラップを作るのも思い出ですが、小学生以上から体験出来るとんぼ玉体験も魅力的。虹色に輝くとんぼ玉を自分らしくガラスを組み合わせて作れてしまうと聞けば手を出したくなります。素材選びからあれこれと悩めるのも最高！難しいのかと思いきや丁寧な指導で数十分で完成しました。手作りだけに同じものは二度とできないわけで、また行きたいと思います。

We did this today and had a lot of fun! The kids chose the colour of the materials themselves and had the professional guide them through the process of making a glass bead. The entire activity took about an hour or so. A great alternative to skiing, if you want to keep the kids occupied! Highly recommended!

Great activity for a day off the snow, or anytime really. Took kids as young as 7 years. They have the autonomy to choose colours and patterns (with some parental guidance to fit your budget). Then an experienced Japanese practitioner guides and controls the making process. Never knew kids could be so quiet! the concentration and joy of creation at work. The staff are excellent and patient. allow about 40 mins for the choosing and activity, then go away for a coffee somewhere for an hour. When you return, the bead is ready and they again can create an item for the bead, be it a bracelet, necklace, keyring or whatever. Allow another 20 mins or so. Cost is around the AUD30 mark, upwards. There are also some lovely works on display and for purchase made in house by the masters.

スキーの帰りの突然立ち寄って、とんぼ玉製作体験しました。自分のオリジナルデザインを、ていねいにサポートして頂き、美しい作品に仕上げてもらえます。製作後、冷却する時間が必要ですが、目の前のお蕎麦屋さんで過ごせるので、ごはん前に製作することがオススメです。いい思い出になり、また来年も来ようという気になりました!
