青山剛昌ふるさと館のすぐ前にある。普通の道の駅だが、コナンの聖地巡礼の観光客が多く訪れる。トイレを使わせてもらった。

コナンくんの銅像があります。
トイレが残念な感じなので、きれいに改装されたら嬉しいです。
現状、私は入れません。
こちらはお台場いちばというお店が併設されていて、
野菜やフルーツなど、お安く売っていて、
私にとっては鳥取に来たらはずせない場所です！
ただ、店内はハエが居てちょっと悲しくなります。
スイカのソフトクリームもあります。

Ｒ９沿い「お台場公園」隣にある道の駅で、北栄町の特産品「大栄スイカ」や「ねばりっこ」ブランドの砂丘長イモの販売・レストランがあり、隣には、北栄町由良宿がふるさとの「名探偵コナン」の原作者「青山剛昌 ふるさと館」もあります。

米子から国道9号線を通って倉吉へ向かう途中、立ち寄りました。山陰自動車道が部分的に完成していますが、この辺りはまだ9号線が下を走っています。倉吉市街へ入る前、寄りましたが、地元産の農産物などを販売しており、ごく普通の道の駅でした。

This is my 2nd visit. Most visitors come here for the Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory, as I did for my first visit. But I had revisited this shop merely 6 months later, after first visiting it in Dec 2018.
Even though the shop area is tiny, but you need to realise this area, Hokuei-cho, is a famous fruit growing region, so lots of farmers send their produces here for sale. So far, I have bought strawberries, honey dew, water melons, and pears over different seasons, and I found out they are marginally cheaper than most michi-no-eki elsewhere. I even bought herbs I never knew this region is producing, at prices even cheaper than those China grown herbs I bought back home, with much better quality too! They sell vegetables as well, but I don't suppose general tourist cares to bother due to a lack of cooking facility.
