I was able to visit the Kinrei Sake Brewery's sake brewing history museum. It looks like people covered in sweat were working in the hot storehouse wearing only loincloths. I guess their sweat got mixed into the sake.

This sake store is attached to the sake culture museum of Kinryo Nishino, a famous sake maker in Kagawa Prefecture.
The process of making sake and the equipment involved are on display, allowing you to experience the culture of sake making in a short amount of time.
At the souvenir shop, I was given a detailed explanation and sampled sake, and I decided to send the sake I liked home.

This is the town's Sake Museum. It is conveniently located steps in front of the ryokan on the busy pedestrian shopping street. There are many interesting exhibits, the making of sake and the collection of sake bottles.
Our gracious local guide, Masayo Kurokawa, wanted us to see what this town had to offer. We didn't go up the 400+ steps to the Shrine at the end of the street.
As we were leaving, we saw the largest sake bottle hanging on display.
Somehow, I thought that there would be a tasting room.

歴史館にて、昔の酒造りの流れを見て懐かしく、今は閉めている近所の酒蔵を思い出しました。醪を酒袋に入れて槽(ふね)で絞ると酒粕が取れます。採りたての酒粕は美味く、楽しみでした。売店ではここでしかない(蔵元限定)酒も販売していて、つい手が出てしまいました。
