Today, we hired a Maria boat for the day and motored for about 5 hrs going from bay to bay. The booking process was very straightforward and the staff very friendly, professional and informative. We had a great day out in a simple to operate and reasonably priced craft. Thoroughly recommend Ionian Boats.

Layla and Marios (sorry if spelt incorrectly) were lovely! Very friendly, patient and welcoming. Both provided great instructions and tuition. The boat was perfect for our little expedition and was definitely worth 100€ for the experience. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks so much!

Good quality boats and great service. Hired a 30hp Maria for the day which was perfect for 3 of us. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Cost was €120 plus fuel. Managed to drain the main tank and needed to top up from a spare can and funnel. Rang the team as struggled to restart, but after advised to ‘pump harder’ all was fine. Fuel charge for day was €50 that they were very keen to be paid in cash. Anyway, great time was had and although pricey seemed good value for the whole day exploring the coast and caves.

We enjoyed our day on the water. The staff renting us the boat were friendly and explained everything in English. The boats are well maintained and clean. Some great spots to visit for a swim or lunch. At some lunch places like the taverna they help to moor the boat for you so all goes smoothly.

Amazing experience for a friendly price! Did it two days in a row and got to explore most of the bay and secret beaches, great for snorkling too.

We have been visiting Nydri for many years and hiring boats to visit the surrounding islands forms a very large part of our holiday plans.
Ionian boats are without doubt the best in the area….very reasonable rates with all their boats in absolute pristine condition, thoroughly cleaned and meticulously maintained after every use.
We’ve never once had an issue in all the years we’ve hired and it’s great to have peace of mind and 100% confidence the boats are up to the job (unlike some other rental companies which appear a tad battered and bruised).
Also, never worry if your’e a novice as Thanos and the team will tell you and demonstrate all you need to know giving you full confidence to explore the stunning scenery out on the sea.

Γεια σας, Θα επισκεφτουμε με το αγορι μου το νησι απο 10 ιουνιου. Ποια ειναι η τιμη για σκάφος χωρις διπλωμα? πόσο βγαινουν τα μεταφορικα? Μπορουμε να γυρίσουμε στην γυρω περιοχη, είναι ασφαλες?

Licensed speed boat = 250 Euro + petrol
Non licensed speed boat = 90 Euro + petrol

You can not go with the boat with a 30hp engine to the other side of the island because sometimes is getting windy to the west side of the island.
Is too dangerous.

I was wondering... with a full tank, what's the range (in nautical miles or km) for the small boats with 30hp (medium speed / full speed)?
Also, as I never drove a boat before... do you receive some instructions before? How to anchor, where are you allowed to or not? Are life jackets included?

Hello Larisa,
Before you take the boat we give all the necessary informations and instructions you need to know for a safe use.
The boat with a 30hp engine spends 0,5-0,6 ltr /mile for a normal use.
The boat is equipped with all necessary lifesaving and fire extinguishing devices.

Ionian Boats, who I"d recommend, last summer where 80euros for the day, starting at 9am till 6pm (I think).
We used 30euros of fuel on our day, you might or might not.
Excellent boats, easy too book, really nice people to deal with.
Enjoy your day on the beautiful Ionian sea.

Hello Ben,
For the small boats with up to 30hp engine, you don’t need any license.
For the the rib boats license is essential.
