Un peu Compliqué à trouver. Au bout de la piste da´s le petit village de lenosai il y a un parking prendre l escalier qui est barré pour passer devant la chapelle et prendre la route des cascades. 1h aller de cet endroit. Attention ça grimpé. Belles petites cascades au milieu de la piste quand on passe sur un petit pont.

Просто ущелье. Вдоль него ведет широкая тропа (можно проехать на машине, но аккуратно - узко, слева скала, справа пропасть). По дну ущелья течет река, в нее впадает слева еще одна. Места тихие и красивые, но туристы встречаются регулярно.

Εύκολο περπάτημα απο τη παραλία προς τα πάνω, φτάνεις σε 40 λεπτά στις λιμνούλες για βουτιές στα κρύα νερά που κατεβαίνουν.

We did a guided walk through South Evia Tours in Karystos (on the main square). It cost €25 each and included a coach to take us to the pass and then a guide to take us through the descent to Linosaioi where we were met by a van that did shuttles to the Kantina by the beach. Beware that it is a van with seats in the back and not a minibus! The Gorge is wonderful and there are two stops, one by a lovely bridge over the river and the second by the waterfalls and rock pools. We finished at the church in Linosaioi. The Kantina they took us to was cheap and cheerful and about a ten minute walk to the beach. There were strong winds the day we went so no swimming but it is still a lovely beach. Well worth the cost as I'm not sure we would have found the start point or got back from the end without the guide! You definitely need at least trainers as it's steep and rocky in places but it didn't get too hot, even in August. I would recommend a t shirt rather than a vest too as it can be quite cool in the canyon/gorge. The whole trip was from 9-5 with the walk taking about 4 hours including stops.

Our walking group took a bus up to the Petrokanalo Pass and descended all the way down to the beach. We had good shade for most of the trek and the scenery was very enjoyable. Stopped beside a small church for our picnic and then continued down to the canyon for the rest of the 11km walk to the beach. The trek could be tricky during the rainy season but is worth a visit during good weather.

This is a very rewarding walk through lush vegetation, in contrast to the barren surrounding landscapes. You get to see a very different side to the island.

De kloof stond veelal droog.
Laatste stuk van 3km is zandweg maar goed te doen
Einde pad zijn 4 huizen en kerkje.
Je zult moeten zoeken naar mooie kloof.

En bon marcheur et sportif, nous avons fait l'aller-retour en commençant par la montée depuis la plage de Kallianou. La meilleure partie la plus agréable, à l'ombre des platanes, est entre Lenosai et le sommet de la marche, vers la bergerie de Petrokanalo. Les bords de la rivière sont calmes et reposants, entre sous-bois, gros rochers, bassins naturels où on peut se baigner, panoramas et des gros et vieux platanes difformes mais magnifiques. Des jolis spots de camping sont dispersés le long de la rivière. Cette partie est très pentue et mieux vaut être en bonne condition et bien équipé en chaussures et pantalon (un conseil pour éviter toutes les égratignures dues aux plantes). La montée et la descente valent le coup. La partie basse entre Lenosai et la plage, par contre, est très mal indiquée et le chemin est inexistant ou quasi inexistant. Cela mériterait déblayage et débroussaillage. Nous avons préféré remonter sur la route ou chemin carrossable.
Pour tout le chemin, suivre le balisage rouge (ronds, flèches et carrés cloués aux arbres) trop sporadiques à mon goût et pas forcément aux endroits stratégiques.
As good walkers and sportsmen, we made the round trip hike starting with the climb from the beach of Kallianou. The best and most enjoyable part, in the shade of the plane trees, is between Lenosai and the top of the walk, around the Petrokanalo sheepfold. The banks of the river are calm and relaxing, between undergrowth, big rocks, natural pools where you can swim, scenic views and large and old plane trees misshapen but beautiful. Pretty camping spots are scattered along the river. This part is very steep and better to be in good condition and well equipped in shoes and pants (a tip to avoid any scratches due to plants). The ascent and descent are worth it. The lower part between Lenosai and the beach, on the other hand, is very badly indicated and the path is non-existent or almost nonexistent. This deserves clearing and strimming. We preferred to go back up on the road or passable track.
For all the way, follow the red markings (painted rounds, arrows and squares nailed to trees) too sporadic and not necessarily in strategic places for my taste.
