Its an ok beach-though we heard much about it, its not as mesmerising-perhaps we went in the wrong season (monsoon)… so no watee sports or beach shacks, but it was just us n the mighty sea-sadly, plastic waste n stray dogs abound

The Ladghar beach is around 12 KM from Dapoli Market and a drive of around 30 to 35 mins. Expect some bad patches of road all along this region. This beach is recommended for the Dolphin safari - a one hour speed bot ride. We had really good sighting of the dolphins. The early morning is the best time for going for the Dolphin safari although I was told the safari is available till 12 noon.

We were staying in Hotel Sea Star Harnai & after seeing the harnai beach which was with Zero crowd , we wanted to experience the Ladghar beach also . So we came here at 5Pm after having our lunch in The Fern Hotel & were there till 6pm to see the sunset in Ladghar beach.
Beautiful , clean & less crowded. The beach is quite long & our little one enjoyed to the fullest by playing in the seawater . Just sat in the sand with my wife doing nothing & enjoyed the sunset completely . Some times doing nothing can end up doing many things ♥️🌈
Sunrise & Sunset are gods creation which are magical in itself . Each time I see the rise & the Set it takes me onto a different world .
LIFE is a blessing 💥♥️

One of the best beaches in Maharashtra. The cleanest, least crowd, clean and clear water. The perfect blue sea. Reminded me of Goa. Must visit.

Not much crowd there but good beach with no facilities on the beach. No place to sit nor any other facilities

Ladghar Beach is most cleanest beach in Dapoli. This locality is just too good and lil isolated you won't find it crowded at all. It's surrounded by beautiful greenery and mountains around. Best place to click some fab pictures and videos. But do not expect anything like Goa vibe, there's no food or restaurant stalls at the beach. We visited in first week of Sept and heard from locals that it's off season so no activities are available.
The people were too friendly and helpful. But overall we enjoyed the beach vibe to the fullest.
*Carry your own snacks and water bottles.

Easy to approach from Dapoli. Very scenic and clean beach. Not many shacks but whatever are there are good.

Quite a clean and open beach with not much of rush, Enjoyable experience in going out and sitting on the rocks jutting out and enjoying the sea breeze.

Very long and clean beach. You can walk, jog, swim or just sit and watch the evening sun or take a stroll and enjoy the sun rise. Plenty of activities to do on the bech.
At the time of our visit, it has very few people which is a bliss for people from Mumbai.
There are Dolphins sighting boat trips which can be taken till 11am. It is best to leave right after sunrise so as to increase your chances of sighting and avoid the heat.

The road is manageable though 20-30% of the stretch is under construction --elevation work is undergoing hence that's bit of hard work!
However driving during day time should not be a problem!

I think you should avoid visiting in rainy season as weather is not predictable. Heavy rains could ruin your plan for enjoying beach and sunset.

is there any specific time in a day to watch dolphins, is there any sea sports available like para sailing etc. do you have contact no. business who provides such games.

Prefer to reach before 8:00am. Take a boat ride into the sea to see the dolphins.
There are a few water sports available. I don't remember seeing para sailing.

Yes, Ladghar beach and also Karde beach are quite safe for family outings. There are water sport activities and also dolphin rides (dolphin rides cost around Rs. 200 per person for 45-50 minutes). It is enjoyable and fun. A weekend is enough to see most of the points in Dapoli, but start early from Pune since the roads after Khed are not good and will take up much of your time.

Most stay facilities near beach are not really hotels. They are MTDC approved "bed & breakfast" stays. You can check MTDC website for complete list.
One I stayed, Sukhsagar, Mr Holam 9823841792. It's just across the beach. They have six basic (non-ac) rooms & they serve food as per order. It is as good as a home stay. They charged Rs 1200 per room per night.
Rooms we stayed on 3rd (top) floor were neat & clean. But no mosquito nets.. so you can't open the windows. Otherwise it's good.
