1. Good place to visit to enjoy this lake. Lake is clean and you can see blue water. Check out the pics for more details.
2. Please visit by 4PM as you can enjoy the lake and see sunset. You can have tapri food which is delicious. All vendors are kind there.
3. Kids will enjoy a lot here due to water in lake and boating etc. If you are lucky you can have kayaking also. I love Kayaking.
4. You can also go for camping, boating and paragliding. There are many camping area and you can search to get best deal. With paragliding you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake.
5. Best time is during monsoon as you will get mesmerizing view. We once went on a raniy day and enjoyed many small water falls.

Its a good place to visit.
It has 2 things to do-
1) Go for camping
2) Go for boating, which is just ok
3) If not interested for camping then nothing to do.
In Monsoon season, weather is good to go but in other time, its not worthy.

This is one of the quick weekend getaways and considered as one of the best things to do in Lonavala. Camping is one such experience where the soul gets rejuvenated and relaxed the wonderful nature is always open and places around here are suitable for people of all age groups. Tents are placed around the periphery of the lake and one can enjoy the meals and recreation on the waterfront.
The establishment becomes lively with live music, bonfire, games and barbeque dinner, turning the evening into a perfect getaway.

Green and quiet surroundings. We visited on a weekday to avoid crowds. The light drizzle was an added charm.

Boating is recommended! For sure, you won't regret it. The tent stay is certainly expensive; some of the tents are tiny.

We are a couple and booked villa through airbnb and we got the excellent view of Pavana lake overviewing shayadari mountains. From Lonavala it took one hour to reach the villa as the road was very tricky and muddy too. Enroute we saw many camping sites as Pavana is famous for. The atmosphere is very pleasant and enchanting. Sunrise and sunset are amazing. We have a swimming pool with a view of lake and mountains that is really amazing. We spend most of the time in reading Agatha’s autobiography and enjoying the Mother Nature.
Surely I recommend to stay in Princess Vista.
Savita made a very good meal for us. Dal, chaval,roti and sabji. We felt home away from home.

A well worth day trip destination. A good Boat ride and Camping area. A must visit with family.
Only request to Maharashtra Government to take care of road. the road is in worst shape .

We visited Lonawala and stayed on a camping resort located on the shores of this lake. The lake is very beautiful and is a source of drinking water supply to Pune and nearby areas. Many hotels have come up in the vicinity and in the morning when you take a stroll you can hear lots of birds chirping around. there is lots of photo opportunity around this picturesque lake.

Yes!!! The weather will be very pleasant but just take care while driving. The roads will be uneven due to rainfall.
