Just had the best bird of prey and owl experience - excellent value for money - we paid £23 for 2 adults and 1 child - saw all the birds - v close fly pasts - knowledgeable commentary and super friendly staff - even got to hold them on a glove - way better value than any where else we have been

The views are really good very educational disability friendly and the birds are fantastic and the staff are very friendly and well knowledgeable price is good aswell

Went with my wife on a day out in the Kielder area. The staff are excellent and really made it a fascinating and fun trip. We looked round then came back to see the feeding at 2pm. You can come and go as much as want in the day. Kids get to wear a gauntlet and hold (with careful help from the staff) different birds while they’re being fed.
They’re an independent centre that relies on the entry fees to survive and they’re worth every penny. It cost £15 for two adults. We’ll come back in the summer to see the birds flying.

Absolutely fantastic centre. Staff are so friendly and the birds are simply wonderful! We had such a fantastic time there! The staff were brilliant and extended our voucher expiry date as we were unable to attend due to Covid restrictions. The visit was well worth the wait. Thoroughly recommend as a lovely day out for old and young alike.

I had an Owl experience in August. What a lovely experience it was too. Such a privilege to be allowed to handle and feed 4 of the Owls. Thank you very much to Shane for talking me through it. We came back at 1.30 to see the first display of the day. We were amazed and delighted how interactive the audience were allowed to be. Great for kids to see such beautiful and well kept birds close up. A thoroughly enjoyable day.

Just had the most amazing afternoon! Arrived to a warn welcome by friendly staff. Informed of the flying and feeding demonstrations. Spent some time walking around viewing the beautiful birds. We were told to take as many photos as we wanted. Unfortunately due to time restrictions on our part we had to leave before the demonstrations...or some thought! When we explained we had to leave soon we were given a chance to hold two of the birds, not only that but we also got to see a feeding session. The staff were so knowledgeable and clearly loved their work. I can't thank you enough for making our day so special. You are both truly amazing, dedicated people.

We arrived in late morning to be greeted by very friendly staff who informed us that there would be 2 displays (at 1:30 and 3:00) so we spent a little while looking at the birds then went off for a walk and picnic and came back later to watch both the displays. The displays were great. Each display demonstrated 4 different birds and was packed with interesting information. Everyone who wanted to got the chance to have the birds fly to their hands. Each display was about 40 minutes. I would recommend this centre.

Visited today on the spur of the moment as we didn't know it was there. What a treat - staff friendly and spent time talking to my daughters about the birds. The flying display was fantastic. Please visit and support.

Well worth a visit! Visited on Sunday 4th September with my family, had a great time. Very informative and knowledgeable team who made everyone very welcome and a great display too. Highly recommend

They have dogs themselves but I wouldn't have thought you could take your own in as it could frighten the birds.
