Beautiful and clean beach
Water activities at the beach at reasonable prices
ATV ride was really good , Mr Mangesh Jawlekar was friendly
Horse ride , banana boat etc available
Best time to visit is an hour before sunset and experience sunset here
Wide entrance , stalls at the entrance for snacks .
Beware of the bhel puri lady cheating though
Toilet available
Parking near the entrance
Better beach than nearby ones

One of the popular beach in Maharashtra, 4.5 hrs from Pune. Has some white sand. Nice walking track surrounds the beach.

Shrivardhan beach is located in Raigad District of Maharashtra, which is @185 km away from Mumbai and 165 km away from Pune. Shrivardhan and Harihareshwar cities are called as Twin cities of Raigad Districts and distance between both the cities is @ 20 km.
Historical Importance of Shrivardhan:
Shrivardhan was once the hometown to Peshwas, the Prime ministers of the Maratha Empire. This Town is also called as Town of Peshwas since it is the Birth place of the First Peshwa. Shrivardhan has its page in Mahabharata. It is said that Arjun stayed hear for some days during his pilgrimage.
Activities Famous at Shrivardhan Beach:
Shrivardhan beach is the most clean beach among three beaches of Harihareshwar and Diveagar. This Beach has a nice atmosphere with unpolluted air and a Blue sea.
Popular activities of Shrivardhan beach are Boating, Swimming, Horse and Camel Riding, Beach Volleyball, Beach walking and Buggy Rides.

Very flat beach for a very peaceful experience with family. Low on activities or stay/food options. Little difficult to reach but beach experience is far better than many other popular options in the state of Maharashtra

Nice unspoilt beach, very little crowd, the overall scenic beauty is good. Neighboring beach of Aaravi is even better. Just 5 kms

The expansive and clean beach at Shrivardhan in Raigadh district is a clean beach and is a long stretch on the Arabian Sea. Being quite near to Mumbai, it forma a good weekend break ( except it may be crowded then). there is a fine promenade to walk on the Sea front enveloped by a dense Palm trees . ,Its a main attraction at Shrivardhan!

This beach is serene, flat, clean and overall very peaceful.
We went there in Feb end this year. The weather was nice, water was clear. It was not oily. The beach was flat and safe to play around and go a bit( till knee deep) into the water.
At some places there were water sports as well. The landscape looked awesome, with small hills, and fishing boats near the horizon.

Clean not so crowded beach.
Good walk way along the beach front.
Fishermen market on one end. Good horse carts, camels rides for children.

Nicely organised construction by Shrivardhan municipal corporation at beach side. This beach is beautiful as expected.

We are planning to come by bus from pune to Srivardhan.
How far is the beach from bus stand?
What are means of local transport in srivardhan... And if we want go to Harihareshwar?

Beach is not too far from the bus stop, may be 15-20 minutes walk.
Auto is the best means of transport within Srivardhan.
There are buses going to Harihsreshwar from Srivardhan.
At Shrivardhan, do visit Kusumadevi temple as well. It's somewhat inside, quite a calm and quiet place. Typical old temple in Konkan and you will enjoy the visit.
There is a hotel by Karmarkar at one of the corners of the road and their food quality is excellent. Worth visiting for breakfast / lunch / dinner etc.

Yes. It is good and n Monsoon. Beach will be quiet less crowded. Actually places near Mumbai are very beautiful in monsoon. So the way to shrivardhan will be so beautiful 😍
I and my wife did biketrip in last Monsoon to all kokan beaches upto harihareshwer beach.
